Professor Morteza is caring, social and smart. He keeps his class interesting and wants his students to learn. He interacts well with students and he's available to help in class as well as outside of the class. If you want a Math class that is not boring but still helps you understand the material, definitely take his class.

If you have the chance to take Professor Barshooi for Math, do it. He is a teacher that truly cares about his students. He will go the extra mile to make sure you understand the subject and will encourage you to ask any questions. Flexible office hours. If do your homework and take time to study for the unit tests. You will get easily an A.

I've had the honor to join Barshooi's class for MAT 172 and 271. He structures his lessons around the examples in the book; however, he excels in presenting the material in a way that's fun and digestible. If you take his class, heed his advice and practice! He will help you with the material every step along the path. Good luck!

In his class, effort matters. Whether you know the stuff or not, as long as youre striving to learn and/or help those around you learn, he takes account of that. He cares for his students. He would give up the white board for the students to teach among themselves if needed. Please, to those who do take his class, dont be afraid to ask questions.

Wonderful professor. Calculus 2 is quite a difficult subject, but he will help walk you through it every step of the way. He's super nice, super funny and energetic, and he's always willing to help his students. He shows he cares (he even sometimes brings in food for the class). Definitely take him if you have the chance; you will not regret it.

Really nice teacher. He makes it easy to pass his class. As long as you do the work and the study guides you will definitely pass. If you get a good grade on the final that will definitely help if you got a pretty bad grade on one test.

Mr. Barshooi is one of my favorite professors this semester. He makes the class enjoyable and always has a positive attitude towards his students. Also if you want to understand materials better Mr. Barshooi will break everything down and always slows done to help his students out. So if you are that student who struggles I recommend his class.

He is the most enthusiastic teacher I have had. He truly loves his students and is willing to do anything in order for them to succeed. I struggled originally and he would call on me a lot in order to make sure I understood the material. He is a man of his word, so listen carefully. Study the study guides, participate, and you will pass. Great guy
