Comment:

I took Careers Class with Dr. Dodd. It helped me somewhat search for a job. The Mock interviews and help on the resume are really helpful. But the end of the class had SO much work!! Long papers, presentations, projects. Too much. But if you want a kick in the butt for looking for a career, it's a pretty good class.

You completely on your own in this class. Keep up with the readings and ALWAYS go to the review sessions before the tests. The TA's usually give out some good tips for the test. Dr. Dodd teaches the first two weeks of the class and then he peaces out. It is also a very fast moving class.

This was a good class. The only problem I had was how big it was (500 students). It was difficult to talk to the teacher and clarify things. However, it was an interesting class and he teaches the best he can for the number of students he has.

He is a very nice guy, but not at all helpful. I was having some problems with my online half of the class, and he didn't do anything about it. I'm still having problems with it. Here's a random tidbit: If he actually is teaching the class, which is very rare, he is Obsessive Compulsive about touching his coffee cup. Pretty funny.

he doesnt actually teach the class but has a different guest lecturer for each chapter. he's also not very helpfu if you go in to talk to him about something. he's a nice guy though and i got a A in the class so i cant complain too much.

I went to this class once and then dropped it. I'm so glad I did, because I took it over the summer and had a fabulous instructor and his name did not have "Dodd" in it. :)

I didn't like the class much, the teacher didn't teach, and gave quizes on stuff he didn't teach us. the teaching style changed a lot too, hard to get good at the class.

All I remember from this class was an interesting discussion on dreams and what happens when you sleep. Now, if this is the only thing I remember...what does that tell you about the class. Oh and I went everytime and listened. Now I wish I didn't do either.

Worst class any person would ever take. He does not lecture, other professors come in a lecture about subjects he knows nothing about then tests you one them. He leaves class early and is difficult to get a hold of. He should loose his tenure at the University of Utah.

Wow, the worst class I have ever taken in college. I do not understand why he gets paid because he never teaches. He does not even hang around for the lectures, but then he makes the tests. I have a fine grade, because I study, but this is not the psych class to take if you want to learn anyghing

Worthless class and professor, you never really know what's going on in his class. I think he lectured us twice, all the other times we had different people show up. You never know what is going to be on the tests, it's never the lectures.
