Comment:

David is the best there is. It's a tough class, but it's clear that he's doing his best. The tests are weighted heavily, but he gives you lots of material to study. All the lectures are recorded and posted online, so you can miss class and just watch the lecture later. He gives lots of partial credit. If you have to take this class, take David.

Comment:

His classes are not easy by any means, but his expectations are very clear and there is no grey area on what you should expect on the exams. He clearly has a great understanding of the content and does well explaining real scenarios where the content will be used. Many times those examples are from his time as an engineer. Great Professor.

Comment:

Professor Kidd was awesome. His syllabus is 85% exams and 15% homework, but don't let that scare you. His exams are extremely fair, and if you go over all the homework and his reviews, you will do just fine. His homework isn't that time consuming either, as he goes over them before you turn it in. Overall, highly recommended over OSU teachers.

Mr. Kidd is an amazing professor. He teaches with clarity so it's easy to follow. He gives homework but it's extremely helpful to do them, they're similar to what's in the test. For the class I took it was also online so I had the chance to go over the lectures and review for tests.

Comment:

David Kidd is a great instructor and has been teaching statics, dynamics and strengths for a long time. Homework due each class but he goes over it in detail making it impossible to not understand. Midterms were fair but the final was pretty tough. Overall would recommend and much better than the OSU professors.

Awesome teacher. The only material you need is a course pack-it. The exams were relatively easy if you do the homework. This class was a lot easier compared to survey with Professor Schultz at OSU.

He is awesome. I took strengths at OSU and struggled. I took it at LBCC and learned more and got a good grade. He records all his lectures so you can review them later. If you are an OSU student and need strengths of materials, take it with David at LBCC!

Great Teacher. His test were exactly like the homework, so if you do the HW you'll do fine on the tests. Tests are worth 80% and HW is worth 20%. Doesn't use a textbook, just a $15 course packet. If you're an CEM (OSU) take this class at LBCC, much easier and cheaper.

I've had David for Statics, Dynamics, and Strenghts. Made a tough classes easier than expected. Every type of problem is covered in class and is in the note-packet. He shows you how to do almost all homework problems during recitation and Tests are exactly as review sheets. Dont buy book for his classes, just buy note-packet and you should be ok

Great teacher, homework corresponds to what is tested. hates calculus, and shows you the easy way to solve problems. He gives you HW with the answers so you know if you did it right. and has real world engr experience.

do not take him for Dynmics or statics, very hard teacher! Gives out to much homework, even on the day before the test. Tests was insane!
