He is a machine. He'll power through his notes and makes sure to cover all the material he meant to that day. Did a great job making the class easy to understand. Notes are clear and well thought out. Easy A or B. "Keep asking"

Extremely helpful and clear in lecture, but repeats himself frequently which can get annoying. Tests are not pretty challenging but open-notes open-book. Notes from lecture are much more helpful than the book.

Can't spell boring without Orin. He's actually not bad in homework/tests/projects, but good luck staying awake in lecture. Avoid taking 662 with him unless you've had him previously...seriously. Classes with him become significantly easier if you've had him for something else already (I've taken 261, 265, 561, and 662 that have all ended up bein

One of the best ECE professors at OSU. He's clear and takes things nice and slow during lecture. He repeats himself quite often, which can get annoying, but he is very helpful and always encourages questions. His quizzes and tests are tricky, but not long. I only used the book to get the homework problems, which is sad for a $100 book.

Dr. Orin is a great professor. Goes through things step by step so there's no doubt what's going on. Go to office hours if you don't understand, and he will explain it so you can. I agree that you get the impression that you don't have to study but the tests are somewhat difficult. The book is only for reference--nothing in tests he doesn't say.

Great. Great professor. Does whatever he can to help a student. Very clear and concise on lectures. Homework and computer problems are fair and helpful, grading is very fair. One thing: the book is useless, don't buy one. He gives out all of the info you need for the course unless you miss some class, then just ask for a copy. Awesome prof.

Not bad at all. Give's you a vibe that the class is easy and you should just relax but exams are tricky. Better than most professors, lectures are heres what it is, example of what it is, any questions. Very good teaching methods. Grader was a jerk, but not his fault.

Dr. Orin is probably the best professor in the department, period. Makes tough material manageable, with fair tests. You have to do well to get an A though. Take professor Orin, you definitely wont regret it. 662 is a microprocessor design course and was very interesting.
