Comment:

Dr. Pravica did a fantastic job of helping me understand Calculus. This was my first Calculus course and I was very fearful and struggled at first. However, Dr. Pravica is extremely patient and willing to help you in anyway he can. Ask for help and he will go above and beyond expectation.

TAKE THIS MAN FOR YOUR CALC CLASSES! Do what ever you need to do to get him as your prof, he gives like 3 take home tests, what more do you want? And the way he grades tests, just theres no way you can fail with him because he gives credit for everything! Other than that, expect what you should from a calc class, its still a hard class!

Amazing teacher. He can talk a bit quickly but he will always repeat himself and make sure you understand if you ask. He likes to relate the topics to your major if he knows what you're going to school for. He genuinely cares for the progression of his students. Ill be taking any class I can if hes teaching.

Dr. Pravica is simply the smartest man I have ever met. By far the greatest professor or teacher I have ever had in my academic career. Not many people are able to make calculus two enthralling, but Dr. Pravica is one of them. If you have to take calc 2 with anyone other than Pravica, wait until you can take it with him. Smartest man I have met.

One of the best Math professor ever had, he always pushes back homework and he gives 5 test 2 which are take home test, and gives a ton of partial credit, and lays the topics out for each test, and his test are only 8 questions, the homework counts more than the test so do the homework. Definitely recommend for anybody that struggles in Math.

This was a very difficult class for me. Pravica seems like a good professor and you can tell that he likes what he does. He wants everyone to do well. I did not understand him though, he doesn't explain concepts very well and goes through it pretty quickly unless you ask questions. Homework is often pushed back and gives a lot of partial credit.

Bases class schedule around how ready students are for the next topic. Able to convince him to give take home tests and delay test dates. He goes off on so many tangents in class that I can't keep up. Goes too fast through concepts and makes me feel dumb when I ask a question or answer incorrectly out loud

If you are worried about Calc like most people, then you'll be happy to hear that Dr. Pravica is an amazing professor. He gives a reasonable amount of HW that really helps you learn, and as long as you complete 80% of it, you get total credit for the class. He also lays out the topics on every test the class before. Study and you'll be fine.

Dr. Pravica is an easy grader for tests as long as you put down an answer that makes some kind of sense. He pushes back all of the homework and you only have to complete 80% of the homework to make a 100%. He drops a test and if you have an A in the class you don't have to take the final. Super nice and funny.

Dr. Pravica sincerely wants all of his students to make an A and he will do whatever he is able to in order to make that happen. you have a take home test and at the end of the semester your lowest test grade gets replaced by your highest test grade. He can be a little "all over the place" but it an overall great teacher and very willing to clarify

Dr. Pravica is the best professor I've ever had. He makes math enjoyable, but every student comes out of his class knowing the material well. He is always at his office hours and is amazing at answering questions in and outside of class. Do the homework and come into class with questions if you want an A.

Professor Pravica is the best math teacher I've ever had. He's animated while he teaches so you don't start to fall asleep. He uses a chalk board and frantically writes problems like he's really excited about it, rather than boring power points. I learned a lot and most of the tests were take-home. If you ever have the opportunity to take Dr. Pravica you will not be disappointed. He shows you the ins and outs of problems for crystal clarity. His tests are very fair and cares about his students success. I was never good at math but have learned so much in both of his Math 2121 and 2122 courses!

One of the best Math professors I have ever had! Very passionate about mathematics and makes it very enjoyable to come to class. I would highly recommend taking him. Wish he was teaching MATH 1066 for the second summer session

This guy is great! :) Really cares about his subject (i'm not the greatest at math) but he grades more than fairly on all his exams. They are set up so that if you write most of the steps yet don't get the wrong answer you still get most of the credit for that particular question. Definitely take him if you need a Life Sciences 2 credit.
