You can succeed in MKT 4200 if you follow the professors instructions super carefully. There is several of projects that require a lot of work. On the projects be sure to to follow the instructions meticulously. He gives 100s if the instructions are followed correctly but there is big deductions if not.

If you're taking this class get ready for a lot of insane busy work. The assignments are totally useless and everyone ends up making up half of their project because they can't complete what he wants. Has VERY specific directions and if you dont follow them, youll fail. Sales scenario at the end is terrible unless you actually want to go into sales

It never seems like he's totally prepared for the lecture he's about to give. He speaks way too slowly for my liking and overall just seems really full of himself. He has a definite air of "I'm smarter than you" about him. I did not like this class at all. Even if I were considering sales as a career, his class would make me think otherwise.

Comment:

Intimidating and not understanding. Gave me a 70 on my final project when I did literally everything he asked and spent HOURS making it perfect. That brought my grade down to like an 89.4 (after i had an A all semester) and he REFUSED to give me and A and was so rude about it. So glad that class is over.

A ridiculous amount of busy work but EASY. You have to act out a sales situation which is taped and then you have to critique yourself.. awkward. I would recommend him but prepared to do a lot of stupid assignments.

DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS. It's too much useless busy work. He is a horrible instructor. His directions seem detailed but it's impossible to figure out what he wants from his assignments. I wouldn't take this class again if someone paid me.

Had him as an online teacher. Definately had to read the book to get a good grade on the tests and quizes. Gives a lot of assignments that are eay & boosts your grade. As long as you read the book you should be able to get an A.

3 easy tests, just read chapters, but not worth much. A couple 100 point assignments, the key is to do exactly what he says, it's not hard just a bit time consuming. Do well on the 100 pointers then you will be fine. Hardly went to class although he said he will be changing attendance policy. Got an A, no reason you can't get an A or B.

Had him for online class and way too much busy work. The class is interesting but too much work and he's serious about the deadlines-dont accept anything late. Also the his grading was not the best on the assignments! Overall an okay teacher for the online class but could have been a lot better.

A little intimidating, but don't be afraid to ask for extensions on assignments. He'll usually grant them. Lots of busywork, but if you put in the time and FOLLOW HIS DIRECTIONS WORD FOR WORD, you will do well.

TONS of pointless busy work. Have assignments, tests, and projects due weekly. I worked really hard all semester, did not miss one assignment or one class period, and ended the semester with an 89.89, and he still gave me a B!

Easy class, but make sure you keep track of deadlines, because he will make NO EXCEPTIONS if you miss a deadline. Very rude and uninterested in helping students unless he absolutely has to.

I took him for an internet course. The material wasn't difficult, but be prepared to do 2 assignments or quizzes EVERY DAY OF CLASS! If you miss one of these, it will affect your grade. Lots of work, but easy material. Not a good course if you have a busy schedule.

If you do not have to take this class DON'T!!! giant part of class is participation this means have to say somthing everday, or you get points off, he doesn't say he keeps track of every time you talk until after midterm when you have 33% for particip., paying att. and taking notes doesn't count, you have to talk even if you don't know what to say

I took a summer class with him, and man did his class suck. He went over stuff in class that was pointless and tested you on insane material that was hard to find in the book. Don't take his class!!!

His class is the worst marketing class i've taken. His lectures are very unclear, and his tests are ridiculous. Not very fair grading procedures, and no grading curves. He gave some extra credit, though.
