Comment:
Seems like a decent person, but absolutely godawful professor. Frequently gets own math problems wrong, doesn't explain things and often times assumes you know what is going on, and forces you to take tests outside of class with little prior notice. Doesn't allow extra time, and since your ONLY grades are on tests, miss one and you're screwed.

Fair grader, partial credit. Extra credit % depending on day you take the test. For example, you take the test the first day it's offered an extra 8% to your test score, 2nd day available, extra 6% to test score etc.. HW not for grade. Lectures can be a tad confusing, he gets lost sometimes. Final was only a Chapter exam, not cumulative.

This class is based on test scores, but Mr. Rodriguez is a nice grader. He will give credit if you show your work and know the steps. I am HORRIABLE at math and professor took the time to stay after class EVERY TIME and help me. His lectures are fun and entertaining and he is all around a great guy! I am so grateful I lucked out with Rodriguez!

Mr. Rodriguez is not confusing at all or even is trying to confuse you. He gives many examples as he can so you can understand the problem and solve it correctly. If you do your homework for each assignment he covers in class, you should be fine, so every problem he does in the classroom is on the test. In this case, there should be no surprising.

I honestly hate math and I just do not understand once you add letters with numbers, with that being said, even though I took the two classes prior to this one, I am still just as confused if not more than I was when I begun the class. The professor goes on tangents all the time and sometimes he gets lost. Good Luck!

Certainly not a bad professor, by any standard - but tends to confuse students who struggle with Math. Seems to cope well with students who understand concepts, but struggles with students who don't understand. Would recommend for independent dedicated learners, but not for students with little math experience. Does look like John Hammond.

This professor is aweful. He is very confusing and ends up making every concept overly complicated. He is willing to help after class but will most likely make you more confused. Also your final grade is based off test scores only so if you don't do well on those, which are pretty tough, then you will not be passing this class.

He's an OKAY teacher, not the best I've had. He can be both helpful and confusing at times. If a question is asked he gives round about answers that don't really help. Teaches directly from the book and home work is from book as well. Quizzes and tests are relatively easy.

He teaches in his own way. I received an A in MAT092, but I cannot follow him on the subject I receieved a 100% on. Mr. Bailey is the best teacher in my opinion, but is not teaching 120/121 presently in Fall2010. Looks like the guy from Jurassic Park.

He's a very nice teacher but he can be confusing at times. I really like how patient he is and how he takes the time to answer questions. His tests are kind of hard and you need the book to pass the class because of the homework.
