All lecture based. You don't need the textbook if you are good with this kind of based thing. Will round up your final grade by whole percentage points if you do the extra credit.

Dr. Webb is a great guy and tries to make his lectures really interesting with stories and jokes but the material is difficult. There is a lot of studying that comes with his tests and a lot of memorization. His tests have a lot of fill in the blanks and open ended questions.

He's a great guy but as a non major who was just stuck with the class, it really sucked. If you're an anthro wiz you might be able to thrive in this environment but it wasn't really the class for me.

Dr. Webb was by far the best professor I've ever had. He is very funny and makes the class really interesting. HOWEVER, if you take this class as an elective, DON'T! His tests are all open ended and very, very difficult. I would not take this class unless you have to for your major.

I took forensic anthropology with him. I am not an an anthropology major, which he just assumes everyone in the class is. I didn't necessarily think this class would be fun or easy, but I did think it would be interesting. He sucked any fun or interest that I had for the class......

He's a cool and kind guy and knows his stuff (occasionally, I'd be really into a lecture) he but hardly has teaching skills + tests don't line up with the vocab list he gives out. The class is pretty much all test based which makes for no busy work however, I'm an all A student and even with a dedicated study group, I could only manage a C final.

Webb is a funny professor and all. Don't let his kindness fool you. For an elective class the way he teaches is absolutely ridiculus. The tests are extremely difficult. He expects you to take a whole tests fill in the blank with short ended questions. Don't take him unless your an anthropology major because his classes are unless and a waste.

He's a great professor, but the tests are all you're graded on, and you have to work for your grade. There's a lot of studying you need to do in order to pass, and the lectures are all he gives. They don't really match with the textbook. Don't take this course if you need a gen ed, take any other Anthropology course but this one.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy and he sure does love anthropology, but if you are looking for an easy GPA boost this class isn't for you. He is a very tough grader and gives no feedback as to what you've done wrong. For an intro level course it is insanely hard!

Webb is a great professor, he is extremely knowledge in his field. Physical Anthro is tough, regardless of prof. You have to study, you have to actually learn. I worked hard and studied and got an A in the class (its not impossible). I felt confidence after taking this class, it prepares you for the strenuous classes of senior year.

Nice guy but horrible at teaching. The amount of materialvocab he expects you to learn will make your brain melt. This class made me want to cry and eat ice cream all day. It's really not worth the hassle and stress if you don't need to take it, since most people don't pass.

Avoid him at all costs. Despite taking notes and studying for hours, the tests looked like a foreign language. The textbook will be your BFF in this class but have fun memorizing EVERYTHING. I withdrew because it was better than a low grade. Physical anthropology is a tough subject in itself and he doesn't try to make it easier.

This was honestly the worst class that I've taken so far in college. Yes, he is a sweet guy and he is passionate about this subject but he makes the course way too difficult when it's only an INTRO course. He's not very helpful and I wouldn't consider taking him again just to improve on my failing grade. AVOID taking this with Webb if you can.

Webb is a great guy. I even debated re-taking his class after failing. But just take my advice. If Anthro isn't your major, DONT TAKE WEBB. He's so funny and so nice, but so crazy, insanely difficult. His classes are meticulous and way too much work for an elective.

Dr. Webb is a pretty great guy. Good teacher and while the material is very challenging he WILL make time to help you if you just ask. When I took my first class with him last year I was bombing tests like crazy, but after I asked for help my grades went from F's to B's. He doesn't bite. Just ask him for help if you're stumped.

I'm an art major, yet this Human Evolution class was my favorite course yet. Webb is an amazing guy, and a very interesting professor, one of my favorites. TAKE GREAT NOTES AND STUDY VERY WELL - his tests are very hard. You will not use your text book, all information is given in class. He does not take attendance, but you should go to class.

Classical Archaeology! :D Teacher takes his job seriously (not a slacker, lol) and gets tests back almost always 1 week (7 days) after he gives them. Really fun course, learned a lot.
