Very helpful. If you have an essay idea, but is confusing, talk to him and he always clears things up. Interesting topics and he is very enthusiastic about what he teachers. Not a boring class.

Re: this course on Ulysses - very knowledgeable; even wrote a book on Joyce. Very helpful, good vibrations if you are enthusiastic and opinionated about the subject. Makes lots of lewd jokes that may bewilder you at first, but it grows on you.
