Dr. Fassett is one of the most nicest professor's at SJSU. She would teach in a conversational way to make participating in class lectures more comfortable. YOU DON"T HAVE TO BE GOOD AT PUBLIC SPEAKING TO GET AN A!!! Her quizzes are packed with extra credit which is a plus for gaining points. As long as you try your best you can get an easy A.

Awesome teacher! She really cares about student learning. There is a lot of reading and on going writing, so if you're lazy you won't do well in her class. But if you want to learn from one of the smartest, yet very humble professors I've ever had, take her! One of my favorite classes at SJSU.

She gets it, loves what she teaches, is serious about seeing her students grasp the material and concepts, not just spit back info for a test. She gives meaningful feedback on papers that will help you be a better writer. If you are a comm major, she is a must. You will be challenged, but workload is far from being unreasonable.

Professor Deanna Fassett is one of the best professors I have ever had in my life. You have to work hard in her class, but your work will be rewarded with a good grade. She always gives you constructive feedback so that you can make improvement. I gained more confidence in my writing and presentation skill after taking her class.

I loved her!!! I took her comm20 class over the summer. I hate public speaking and freak out all the time. I passed with a A-, all you have to do is try hard and put effort into class. Very understanding prof.
