Easiest class. I took history 104-106 all online with Tim and they are easy and you learn without a lot of stress. Great teacher and is always helpful and nice.

Online class. First week, Tim didn't have class ready & left no way to contact him with questions. Vague syllabus & doesn't plan things out. Says he wants class to be "organic". Assignments are not hard (got an A), but somewhat redundant. His personality style makes things harder than they needed to be. Difficult teacher & not helpful.

Took History 104 online,easy class. Watched 5 movies participated in weekly discussions and read. Took a midterm, open book 5 short answer essay questions the final was a "Response Paper" 7-10 pages. If you take this class, write your response paper after you read and watch the movie. Easy A.

I've had him in person, but this term I took him online. EASY! We watched 5 movies, discussed it with the class, we had a midterm but it was super easy. There was no final but a response paper which we had to discuss how the movies we watched complimented the text/real history. We watched Gladiator, Alexander, stuff like that. I RECOMMEND! ;D

Awesome guy, he let me join class almost two weeks into the term and let me make the assignments up that were done previously. This guy is very nice and even when he had to have emergency back surgery, he still kept in contact with us. Great!

I love this guy. The class was very easy, literally didn't do anything all year. The only assignment we had was our midterm which consisted of getting into groups of 5 and discussing WWII. Easy A, attendance is mandatory. Super easy, can't say that enough. Definitely recommend. Love you Timmie :)

Took his class online, super easy! Excellent communicator, as long as you read the text the weekly questions are easy. Online discussions are required but I only did a couple of them and still got an A. No mid term or final, they're optional if you want to bump up your grade! Would highly recommend him!

Comment:

Tim is a energetic instructor who is a bit all over the place. It took a little while to get used to his random thoughts, TAKE NOTES! Little use of text book but it does help. Midterm and Finals are worked within groups but it helps to know the answers to tests. Fun class overall new way of learning. I recommend Tim.

Easy easy easy class. Discussions done weekly,as well as assignments consisting of 4-8 questions due each week. As long as you make the correct number of discussion posts, and meet the length requirement on the assignments, you will get an A. There was a mid term, but it was just for people who needed to improve their grade. No tests or papers. :)

Excellent teacher! It doesn't even seem like you are learning because you are having fun, but you are! I've taken more than 4 of his class's, and they are always different but still fun. If you want to learn about history and have a blast doing it then take any of his class's!

Tim is a great teacher - one of the best at Chemeketa. You don't just get an A just for comming to class; you need to think and input your own opinions into you're papers. Fun! If you do you're work (all take-home assignments, even the final) and get it in on time, you will get an A.

Nice guy. Funny. More concerned with participation than anything else. Seems to be heavily right-brained (don't take him if you want a detailed, very linear approach). He's also fairly disorganized and wandering (he accidently failed to show up to the first class session).

Easiest class I have EVER taken in my life. On the first day of class he told us to return our textbooks, and then asked the class if we all thought we'd get A's. He said we would! No homework, no tests--just two short papers to write that don't have to adhere to any particular format. Yeah. A+ in this class!
