What can I say about Professor Hodge he was the best english prefessor I had so far TAKE ADVATAGE OF OFFICE HOUR he will liturally sit with you through office hour and revise your whole essay if he sees you care about his class he will do anything for you to pass his class his quizzes are not hard at all if you read in the text book

Comment:

Professor Deckard is a perfect teacher. Although I didn't get a good grade for this course, but I still learned alot in his class. You won't feel sleepy in his class, he is a really humorous, talktive, and professional teacher. Remember to go to the office hour so you get help on your homeworks!

Deckard Hodge is a wonderful teacher. He is my favorite English teacher at Chaffey College . He is always willing too help with essays as much as he can. He gives you homework but not too much . Homework is pretty much read, summarize what you read and study for the test . He is a funny guy as well. He always made class fun . you should take him.

Dr. Hodge is an amazing professor he really does care about his students and is very accessible outside of class. He does give extra credit opportunities so I advise that you take advantage of those as much as possible as a big percent of your grade is from Essay's. His office hours are helpful and if you're struggling in his class attend them!! GL

The absolute nicest teacher, let alone college professor, I have ever had. Actively goes out of his way to help his students as much as possible, encourages open communication, and is constantly accessible by email or in his office. Essays make up 80% of the grade but he is generous when grading them. Book his class whenever possible.

Professor Hodge, is an outstanding english teacher and mentor. He pushed everyone to their fullest potential, and encouraged everyone to reach out to him if needed. He has a great heart and truly cares for his students. He made his lectures funny and interactive. If you get the chance, take him. His classes fill up quick!

I took Dr. Hodge for English 495. If you want to become a better writer you definitely need to take his class. He breaks down difficult concepts into a step by step system to write an A paper. He assigns reading & homework, so if you tend to procrastinate this isn't the class for you. All in all, he's an incredible instructor

By far my favorite professor! He is hilarious and out going. He cares so much about his students ! Take his class you will not regret it! I would 100% take his class again. Straight to the point. He does give homework at every class meeting but it isnt a lot or difficult at all. He gives points for everything. Double the points too.

Well Deckard Hodge is a pretty dope professor hes a jokester. If you like to roast be prepared to get roasted back. Overall his homework is pretty easy not that difficult of a course. Hes always willing to help out students during his office hours or even right after class for quick questions.

Professor Hodge is an amazing professor and probably one of my favorites at Chaffey! He gives you plenty of time to complete your essays and gives wonderful feedback (if you ask for it). If you do all the work, are in class everyday, and complete everything on time, you'll have no trouble passing his class :)

I had Deckard as a professor two years ago & he is amazing! His class is definitely hard work, but if you show up to every class, do your homework, participate, & take notes you will be just fine. He is always available whenever you need him. Deckard also always makes every class fun & he always has a joke or story to tell. #favoriteprofever

Best teacher, sticks to cyllabus. Four papers you have to write. I hated English but he really makes it fun like SO FUN. He loves diet coke and knows how to make everyone laugh. Participation does matter and you will need the book

Very good teacher! He has a passion for what he does, and genuinely cares about improving your writing ability! He understands that most students don't have any love for English and he somehow works his magic in hopes of changing your mind by the end of the semester! Definitely recommend taking him especially if you struggle in English!

Comment:

Professor Deckard was very hilarious which made it useful because I had him for an 8 am class. He was very helpful and his essays were so fun because they were abut personal experiences. He made me become an amazing writer, very helpful, super nice, and funny! He is very caring and wants to see his students become better writers. I would recommend!
