She was very helpful and told you exactly what she expected. Wasn't a give away easy A, but getting one is definatly achievable if you put in effort. She was very fair and I recommend her for English 098. There was alot of writing but she made sure that she was availible to help every class.

I had Denise for both 98 and 101... Greatest english professor I have ever taken! Fair grading, gives feedback and is fun natured about the essay topics. Have fun in her class and participate and it will be easy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

i would say, if you are majorings in english or journalism then take her. if you are just taking eng 101 to get gen. ed. dont..... DO NOT TAKE HER! i had the worst time in her class. i have never in my life failed an essay and i failed almost all of them. she is very critical.

Very nice and helpful teacher. IF YOU PAY ATTENTION AND SHOW UP IT'S AN EASY A! It's that simple, she requires visits to the writing center, which she works at, and she will gladly review your essay before you turn it in. All it takes is a bit of work and taking advantage of her in the writing center to get an A in the class.

Shes very good at writing, but because she does so well she has extremely high expectations. It's somewhat hard to get help from her, she can be quite bias rather than helpful when it comes time to getting help for an essay. You'll be sweating to get that A basically.

Her class only hard for dumb kids. She outlines the chapters for you and she tells you EXACTLY what she wants in a paper. If you listen, you'll get an A. It's that easy. She loves her job and I'm a better writter because of her. Take her if you actually want to BE READY for the university level, not just pass a class. I wish she taught 103!

bias and received two complete zeros on complete essays. Argument paper recieved zero while in Honors Biology received A on same info. Dont take her you're better off with someone else - my sincere advice from an honor and hard-working student :)

She expects a lot from you, but you will appriciate Ms Muro's teaching when you make it to ENG 101. She really prepares you well for it. If I had taken anyone else for ENG 98, I would have bombed ENG 101 because my teacher did not explain or discuss how to write any of the papers. I ended up acing ENG 101, THANKS MS. MURO!!!!!

This teacher is th best at what she does, as long as you briskly look at the book 5 minutes before class you will ace the 4 problem quizes. If you turn in every paper yoe will for sure get a b in the class just for trying. She is a great teacher!!!

Good teacher, provides the neccessary tools to complete the class. She is tough sometimes. But gives second chances through revisions. The quiz questions are freaken hard but only account for 10% of the final grade. The class is on a weighed system.

Generally decent. She is nice, but you have to show up everyday or you are screwed. Grades fair, and is very helpful. A little boring, lacks color in lectures, but is very clear and explains things well. I still can't wait until i am out of the class. Requires Writing center visits for each essay! So that sucks! Quizes are hard.
