Comment:

Intelligent, clever, and thought provoking, this professor knows the material and invites honesty in his students. Be mindful of the curricula by performing the various self-assessments, discussion boards and Critical Thinking assignments along with reading the textbook will ensure an outstanding grade. I truly enjoyed the "Steinback experience."

He teaches straight from the book but will usually end up telling stories most of the class. He also doesn't hand back graded material very often so it's really hard to know what you'll get in the class. But, if you use the book to help take your quizzes and write a few decent one page essays you can definitely get an A.

Great teacher, enjoyed every minute of the class and made good contacts. Made everyone feel very comfortable with giving speeches. Definately recommend taking him if you need a COMM class.

this course was extremely boring!! This instructor is torture...if you take the fast tract course, rest asure that u will seating in class, til the last second. Although the class is easy, it still requires some k-grade assignments. I never appeared to class, maybe only 3 classes 1/3 of the time, and still got an A.??? I don't know how????

Just finished my fast trac class & took my final. Very easy final,all 4 quizzes (take home)were the final & 3 take home essays.How could ask for anything more.Great teacher, easy class, was never bored.Knows a little bit about everything.Just do your homework,go to the websites,come to class,and involve yourself in the discussion.Loved it!!!!!!

This class was, umm, interesting. I took it fast trac with him and that's way too much. He is very smart, but gets off subject quite a bit, sitting in his class Saturday 9 am - 4:35 pm is too much for one day. Try taking his class broken up by time and days. Not recommended for fast trac.

I would not recommend him if you get bored very easy.. super nice guy.. but really boring. All he does is talk about storys way off topic that dont really make sense. If you choose him as a teacher go for the class that is only an hour a day, Mine is 3 hours one day a week and I cannot usually sit through the whole class.

Very nice but usually had no real lesson plan. Papers and assignments were not handed back or corrected until the end of the semester which made it hard to know if work was good or if it needed improvement before the next one was due. He was extremely nice and easy going, but a little boring.

Took a Fast Track class with him. He's really interesting & nice. Wants you to pass and will help you out if you have any questions. Gave us ample opportunities to practice speeches in small groups so it was easier (anxiety-wise) to give the speech in front of the entire class for a grade. My favorite professor at MSJC thus far.

He is a very nice guy, but I find his class very boring. We just sit and listen to him talk the whole time, which is often about random obscure war facts. He is very knowledgeable, but I think the class is structured poorly. It is easy, but you aren't really sure what is expected of you.
