Comment:

Always 5-10mins late, doesn't show up for class, cancels class a lot. Will say she'll most to Moodle but doesn't, then when you email her about it she doesn't respond to emails. Her lectures are repetitive and boring. Very bad about entering grades. Lot of bad reviews she needs to be let go. Don't take a class with her. :/

We are 7 weeks into a 12 week on-line course and she won't answer important e-mails about uploading papers to forums that she has assigned that are out of date. She has only graded one paper in 7 weeks with very little feedback. I took this course so I could learn. how can I learn like this? This is frustrating. she is failing us.

Wont answer emails or phone calls. Is horrible at keeping up with grading (4 weeks in and I have no grades). Terrible class structure and doesnt open modules on time. I would NEVER recommend taking her class.

Comment:

I enjoyed Denise Miller's class because she encourages you to "think outside the box". The best part is that she didn't require a textbook and that is much appreciated for anyone cash strapped. She was frequently late (usually only about 5 minutes) and did cancel class a couple of times. I would recommend taking her class.

I loved her so much! British Lit. in itself has a lot of work, but she is one of the easier teachers. She is a tough grader on the outlines but other than that it's not hard to get an A. She is probably my favorite teacher I've taken so far. She is really fun and Id take this class again. Oh, do the objectives and terms, it pays off at the end.

Such an easy class, the longest paper we have had to write so far was 10 pages. She allows you to be creative. You just have to make sure that you are good with your grammar and structure and you will do fine. All you have to do is listen well to her instructions and it will be such an easy class.

I wouldn't say the class is easy because you definitely have to work for your grade. We did a project that was worth a huge chunk of our grade and the instructions weren't clear. Don't show up late for her class or leave to go to the bathroom.

She was always very helpful, responded to emails really fast. I forgot that the final exam was only given for one day and missed it, I just emailed her about it and she opened it back up for me! To me this was a great refresher course but if I didn't know any English Lit. before I wouldn't recommend taking it online.

I'm taking an online class for ENG 202. She has been very helpful to me although I am just studying and testing out (no course homework). I email her with any and every question I have and she is very prompt and helpful.

Denise likes for students to interact in class discussions. There are assignments every class but they don't require too much of your time. Some people even did them an hour before class. Not difficult at all. While you get to your essays, there are about 2 rough drafts which allow time for you to work on them without any pressure.

Denise a good teacher overall. There are 4 big essays in her class. There is homework every day, but it's not very hard. She will help you out when you need. Grading is kinda tough, especially if you're not good at writing. But overall, she's nice.

Denise teaches kinda strict, but the discussions are fun if you make them. She gives you all the background info you need for all the essays you have to write and they're really easy. But you have to be good at following the instructions and doing what she looking for. She's awesome!

Easiest class ever. You can miss a few assignments and still get an A. Four essays were not so bad. She's very helpful and willing to help her students. Strict with attendance, tardiness, grading, and when u speak while she is speaking. Besides that she's cool. I recommend taking her classes, even if you are bad at writing.

She's GREAT if you decide to put effort. She's very thorough with her explanations. All you have to do is try. She does give a lot of work, but nothing that's overwhelming. She's considerate and always available to you if you need it. If you're a slacker, you won't do good.

This is a great Professor! She really loves the subject and if you get nothing else out of the class, she wants to make sure you take knowledge away from the class. Professor Miller cares about her students and works with them. Easy class, just attend and participate.
