You have a lot of homework, she always has you working. Overall if you do the work and listen to what she tells you, you'll get through the class fine. This isn't a class you can just slide by without much effort. She expects you to participate.

I take her class now and I can honestly say she is my favorite teacher so far! She is clear on instructions, gets right to the point of her lectures, and is very helpful. I highly recommend her (especially if you like writing)! Definitely having her again next semester!

She wants students to learn and be serious with their work then you will have a good experience with her. Gives a lot of homework but they aren't that hard but takes a big chunk of your time. You will write 2-3 research paper. Grades very fair but you better have grammar and punctuation on point. No shoddy jobs. She is kind and easy.

I loved Professor Bausch. She has a great sense of humor and a passion for teaching. Some may argue that she isn't very clear in her assignments, but if you just talk to her, she's more than willing to explain things. Yes, there's a lot of work, but it's English 112, not 111. Do you really expect it to be easy?

This was by farthe most difficult and most tedious class I had ever taken! can't miss more than 3 classes before she fails you.LOTS of group work! papers are hard only because she doesn't tell you what she wants. LOTS OF READING(ALOT)! poems are difficult to comprehend. Please, if you actually want to pass with a descent grade, find someone else!

This class came easy to me. The paper weren't difficult, although some of the poems were hard to understand, but Denny helped the class wit the meanings by having class discussions and group work. I would recommend Denny, but if your not use to sarcasm don't take her.

The only lectures we received came from her husbands visits, frankly. She doesn't make it very clear what she's looking for when it comes to essays sometimes, and can be a little condescending to students. At least if you bomb an essay she gives you a chance to correct it for a better grade. Lots of group work too. Do the readings. ALL of them.

Dr. Bausch was not helpful when writing the essays assigned, DOES NOT EXPLAIN HOW TO DO ANYTHING OR WHAT SHE WANTS. I enjoy english very much but having this teacher definitely put a bitter taste in my mouth for the subject in the future, I just hope I don't get a teacher like her again

I loved Mrs. Bausch, she is a great teacher but gives a tough case load. I wrote three research papers and one narrtive. Overall she is very easy to please. You keep submitting your papers untill you get a grade you like. Then submit the two best for your final grade.
