Overall Dr. Brown is a good teacher. He has a slight accent but it does not cause major problems. His tests are identical to the study guide word for word so that is very easy. Gives a lot of homework but it's pretty easy, book is required. Also took HMT 270 and it was the same.

Professor always seemed busy, tests are very tough. He was not able to relate to students' understanding of the Subject matter. Sometimes lectures were boring and waste of time.

Currently in both 210 and 270. Both are similar pretty much. 4 tests and 1 project in each. I know the comment below aren't good but he has gotten a lot better. I can understand him and he isn't that bad. Tests are directly from the study guide. I mean exactly, so if you do it and study you will get an A or B for sure.

cannot understand his african mumbo jumbo, tests are hard as hell, bad advisor, boring, rarely tells you when class is canceled which is frequently, class notes are word for word out of the book. he sucks!
