Comment:
He's very intelligent and can provide many practical examples on a given concept. He does go kinda fast during lectures, but if you see him outside of class, he's happy to help. The key to doing well in his class is letting him know you're sincerely interested and that you're willing to put in the effort. He'll meet you in the middle somewhere.

Comment:
material in second half of semester is difficult, no way around it; builds lectures around practical problems, invites class participation, accent is challenging at first; HW is moderate to challenging; test format is M/C & probs - M/C is detailed but not esoteric, probs are on par with HW; if possible, take calc III before this class.

I was hanging on a C for dear life! Once you figure out his technique, it's easy to take advantage of him. Do the HW. Right or Wrong, just put down some crap, you'll get credit. The tests killed me. The multiple choices were so random and crazy. I wanted to jab the pencil in my eye on the final. That was one hard test.

He's good, and knows his stuff. Don't be afraid to ask him questions, and he's understanding if you had crap going on in your life. Make sure you show some interest though, so he knows who you are. He'll base some of his grading on how dedicated you were.

He isn't that difficult to understand. Knows his subject, but can write pretty fast. You'll get used to him. Test questions are similiar to homework. Fair grader and won't put anything too crazy on any test. Do all the homework and labs and you should be okay.

Comment:
Lectures are boring with him. He looks at the ceiling or floor when speaking. You don't learn a whole lot from the lectures unless you specifically go to problem solving and ask him. Tests are reasonable, he doesn't put anything wild on tests, labs are easy and he grades very liberally.

There's no eye contact during lectures. He does have an accent but it's not hard to understand what he is saying. Tests are kinda tough but then again I don't read the book...

Fair tests. Writes all over the board so you need to take notes fast otherwise you wont know what to write. Messy handwriting. Looks at the floor or ceiling when he lectures.

Test are definitely harder than Siegals! His test are very similiar to past semesters! Usually just changes the numbers around and keeps a few of the questions.
