Comment:

Heda is very smart and knows the material very well, but isn't the best about answering your questions in it's fullest. Make sure you go to class, pay attentions, and get a textbook!!! She does lots of practice problems in class from the text book. She care about her students success.

Comment:

Took this class online over the summer. Instead of creating new lectures for the 6 week semester, she used the same 27 lectures from a normal 16 week semester. This was difficult because some weeks I would have to watch eight 75 minute lectures! Did not use textbook at all. All material on exams covered in class. Lots of extra credit. Okay choice.

Her lectures was clear but her tests was difficult. She claims the assignment was going to be exactly formatted on the test but it wasnt. But she was sweet. Take this class with other professor.

Comment:

Grading criteria was unclear. I had an A until the final. I was blindsided by how difficult it was as we had never covered these things in class. Ended up taking my grade down a letter grade. I don't think this class would have been any easier or harder in person. Maybe try to take with a different professor if available. Yelled at class often.

This class starts out really easy and then throughout the semester she stopped going as in depth. She moves fairly slowly, but don't allow yourself to get behind. Exams are nothing like what she covers in class. I had a difficult time in this class, but she is a very nice person. I would still recommend her!

Took this class online, and she would often get mad at her class in the lectures posted. For the final exam, a majority of the content on it was BARELY covered in the lectures, and what was primarily covered only made up a small portion of the test. She was very helpful though regarding questions I e-mailed her.

Take her online if you can. You can speed up the lectures to 1.5 or even 1.75 speed, still understand everything, and do well in the class. The lectures are incredibly helpful and relevant to what she puts on the exams. Her lectures are clear and concise. Honestly, I don't understand how she isn't rated higher. Best professor at IPFW.

I was personally not a fan of her teaching style, and I did not appreciate the disconnect between material covered in class vs. questions asked on the exams. I was also grateful to be in her online class and not in her lecture because I noticed that she would call on students that were clearly struggling. I was humiliated for them.

Loved her class! She has a great teaching style and I would gladly take another class of hers. The class structure was made for you to succeed if you do what is expected of you. Go to class and you will be sure to pass with an good grade!

This class was one of my hardest classes to sit through partially for the fact that her accent was hard to understand. She goes through everything quite well but then when it comes to the test, the questions are something totally different. Overall, I do not think she was a good a good professor and I would not take her again if at all possible.

She is a terrible grader. Most of your points are wrapped up in your hw & quizzes. Your hw & quizzes are only 5% each of your overall grade. You have 3 tests the 1st one is worth 25% of your grade, the 2nd is worth 30%, & the final is worth 35%, so if you fail the tests you fail the class. She teaches you 1 thing and tests you on something else.

Amazing professor. Super nice and helpful, will always take the time to answer questions. Provides opportunities for extra credit. Show up to class, write down what she writes down, and study what you wrote down. You'll get an A and learn a ton.

She's very nice, but reads everything directly from her powerpoints so lectures are hard to sit through. Be prepared to study and DEFINITELY do the problems in the book.
