Professor doesn't teach or have any lecture material. Instead she assigns roughly 40 pages of reading a week and relies purely on class discussion to create content. If this course wasn't required, I would never recommend taking this professor. She really doesn't teach - you can learn all the material on your own just by subscribing to HBR.

Good class but lots of reading. Prof V is incredibly organized but a tough grader and not very open to argument. She knows her stuff and cares about the course and students. The book is an online course pack that can be on your mobile device, so look into that. Lots of group projects/papers and grading is more strict than you would think.

This class sucks but we all have to suffer through it and Diane Vacarra is the BEST professor to have for your discussion. She is so nice and so helpful. She gives you her home number in case you need her outside of class/office hours. Such a nice woman. DO THE READING, those stupid quizzes will screw you over!

She is a tough, picky grader. She is very friendly, but her memory is shorter than the lifespan of a fruit fly, so you have to keep reminding her of how good you are for her to give you points for it, esp. for participation. Keep that in mind.

I think she was very helpful. I had her discussion at 9:30 am, and she managed to keep me awake throughout the 3 hours. She also went out of her way to help the students with anything they needed. She is also very nice and funny.

Annoying voice. Very willing to help students. Hates SMGs grading system as much as students, but has no choice but to follow distributions. Allows you to argue answers for points on deacon's facist quizzes to raise grades! Can get B easily for effort!

vacarra has the most annoying voice in the universe. only gives out two As in a 40-person discussion. makes it impossible to do well. she basically threatens students about how they are all going to fail. totally a bad choice for an ob prof.
