I'm actually writing this review of him in his class right now lol. This 2 day class is so boring I mean he just rambles on and on. Majority of the class are on their phone or dead from his off topic lecturing. We have an exam after he finishes with his lecturing but I already have the answers to the test so I'm just chilling & using my ipad.

He never takes attendance. The only grades in the class are four exams. If you think you need extra credit, you can turn in essays for points. There is no way to check your grade, other than showing up to his office during his very specific office hours to ask him. all he does is lecture, no assignments. Hard to get a hold of, but extremely smart.

This teacher did not communicate very well. In the beginning of the class, I messaged him and didn't hear back for almost a week. He wasn't that clear on some assignments. Overall, I did not like this class, but it is required. I wish there were other teachers available to choose from.

This Man IS AWESOME. He has more knowledge in that brain then should be allowed. He is very personable, accessible, & he gives you every opportunity to succeed...you determine your success...I'm taking him again for HIS 108

All he does is give lectures and sit it front of the class with his arms crossed. He gives out a review for the test and then says he will go over it on the review day. Hardly goes over it and then says there are a few terms not on the review sheet that are on the test. The tests are usually only 25 questions. I would not recommend this teacher.

Self paced class, 11 assignments total, its super easy. I recommend this class rather than going to an actual class. Its easy to get behind so average 2 essays a week and you'll finish by December giving you time to focus on other finals.

This prof. is the worst! He doesn't provide any ref. material or lecture notes. Nothing! All he did was post assignments. I emailed him asking if he was going to post anything to help us with the assignments and he replied that this is a critical thinking class and the more I put into it the more i would get out of it. thanks for nothing teach.

Took online summer class. Went by fast. He does not use canvas and I had to figure out where to find the assignments - its his own MCC page. He set forth what each assignment was (all writing),and said get it in before the end of the term - barely any communication bugged him by email - he finally responded. Self paced, self taught but not hard.

I took his 2 day summer class with my girlfriend and we had different impressions of this guy. I thought some of the stuff he was talking about was pretty interesting. My girlfriend practically fell asleep right next to me. If you like history and politics you might be able to withstand 2 unbelievably boring days in this class.

I took his Arizona Constitution class, and the best part about his class is there's no homework, only the final exam. The only thing I didn't like is in class, he always went off topic, and the final is in the back of the AZ Constitutional textbook. He tells you what won't be on there which is good, Google it,and make flashcards for an easy A.

Good teacher who's probably forgotten more about history than most of us will know. The fact he doesn't require attendance is helpful when you are taking other classes recommend if you're taking a heavy workload add this class.Tests are easy if you pay attention and read. Watch trick questions to see if you've been paying attention to his lectures.

I took his AZ constitution 2 day course. I'll be honest, it was long but I enjoyed it. He does go off on tangents and strays from the topics he was discussing but overall it was pretty entertaining. At the end of two long days he gives you an exam. It's open-book and you can discuss the questions with your neighbor. He gives a great insight into how our state government works(along with some other funny tales). If you need this course I'd recommend him.

I took the AZ an US classes combines in 5 week summer school, it was easy! He does have a tendancy to drone on, but as long as you have the hand outs he provides you are set as you can discuss the test open book, note and neighbor. All in all I would reccomend this class but i would say take it as the condensed summer class, it was great.

Gawronski is a great guy in person. Interesting. I had 104 online this summer and finished 2.5 weeks early. Completely reading the book and answering prompts, no tests. I did have to email him to provide a link for the syllabus and assignments however. The class was Just about reading, answering everything completely, and waiting for grades.

Seems like a nice man that knows his history, but when it comes to teaching he's not that great. can't hear well, so it is very difficult to ask questions and he arrives about 5-8 minutes late and lectures until the last second. If you learn better by reading the book then take this class, if not.. DON'T cause it will be a waste of time & money!!!!

Take the Weekend class, easy A for sure - he lets you out early both days. Open book, open notes for test. The test is in the back of the book - just study that and you can't fail. You are allowed to discuss the test questions in class during the test. Like I said "easy A" - just show up.

Three tests composed the whole grade, with no final. If you get the lists of terms and read your textbook to know 1945 thru 2000 backward and forwards, you won't have to show up for his class except on test days. If you think you need active instruction to learn about history, take someone else.

Took this as an online course and, due to lack of welcome email, I had to email him for instructions. Turned in my assignments and never heard back! He's obviously tenured with better things to do than teach. AWFUL COURSE!

Nice guy. Has a ton of knowledge on the subject. Because of this, his lectures can drift a bit, but I enjoyed it. Familiarize yourself with the handouts and read the chapters and you'll do well, especially since he allows for extra credit papers. You'd have to try to get a poor grade. He was willing to talk after class and in his office. Good guy.

I took the online course. Heard from the teacher three times by email. Syllabus was on a link he provided, not in webCT. Read chapters, then answered specific questions (11 or 12 writing assignments). Take the in person class; there's inadequate interaction to learn based on the structure of THIS internet class. I'm saving the book, it is good.
