Best online class I have taken. Read and follow guidelines and you will pass, and not just pass - you will probably get an A if you just do the work and read! The textbook is great, and easy to read. Not boring at all! Great professor!!

This professor loves psychology and it shows!! There is a lot to do you just have to pace yourself and you will have no problem. He values feedback and truly wants you to enjoy his class. I will be looking for more classes taught by Don Hockenbury!!

Comment:

Easy class as long as you do all the reading. Tests are proctored or you can take them online while being monitored. You will need the book! Lots of reading. Really enjoyed this class, and Mr. Hockenbury was clear and answered all questions. Easy A as long as you stay on top of the reading! Notes can be taken to tests/quizzes as well!

I took this class at the beginning of this past summer in a three week fast track. You must read the chapters and understand the material, ie studying. If you apply yourself, you will learn the subject matter. You must do the assignments and ask questions if you have any. You will get the grade you earn. Definitely take this class, it is worth it!!

I took this course online in 8 weeks, and he is an excellent professor! Always available and very helpful. Asks a lot of his students but if you do the work, you'll enjoy this class. If you're taking Intro to Psych online, TAKE THIS ONE.

Couldn't have been more disappointed in this professor. Arrogant and egotistical. I came into this class with in interest in psyc, but after this experience I wouldn't consider it. One word explains it all.. REDUNDANT. Report, video quiz, practice test and LARGE test EVERY week. 90% of time the questions on the review were not on the test.

Prof. Hockenbury is wonderful. He is VERY thorough. This was an 8 week class that covered A LOT of material. I spent SEVERAL entire days reading, making notes and watching videos for the tests. The text (written by him) is excellent. He posts nearly every answer to any questions before you ask them. Also you can call him anytime. AWESOME teacher!!!

I just finished the first 8 week online intro to pysc course, and I loved it! He made sure things stayed interesting while you still learned. Yes, it is a lot of hard work, but guess what, you're in college, get use to it. Very clear & helpful and obviously loves what he teaches. I highly recommend him!

I took this professor for intro and made a vey high A however, I would not take his developmental psychology class, especially if you are taking other classes. This class will take all of your time and tests are pretty difficult there is a lot of information therefore a lot of reading and no guide to keep you on track.

The professor and the class is amazing. He will make you learn the material but is there to assist. The setup and user interface is fantastic. The intermission course is challenging but made achievable. Take him for both of your Psychology classes. I promis you will be glad you did. Simply put...Professor Hockenbury is the perfect professor.

This guy is amazing! This was my 1st ever college course and it was a great first experience. If you pay attention and do your work, he will be your best friend. He is definitely your buddy and will give away many free points if you pay attention. I have had to call him many times late at night for help and we always ended the convo with a laugh.

16-wk online class. Great & funny teacher! You get 1 page of notes for proctored tests. You must know pictures & graphs. The textbook was easy to read. Great syllabus. If you have any problems & email him, he responds quickly. Overall fun class, wished I had him for my other classes. Made a 98%. Easy "A" if you do the work! Recommend!!!
