Dr. Sadoqi is an amazing teacher. THE BEST out of the Physics professors at SJU because he goes through every single step to make sure everyone understands how to do each problem. He will go over problems again in class if you do not understand & he is SO HELPFUL in office hours. If you go to him & ask for help, he will MAKE SURE you know it. 10/10

Exams were okay, Final was pretty tough. Try to do your best in lab and recitation because you will need those points at the end. Also rarely responded to my emails.

Dr. Sadoqi is the man. He doesn't take attendance, but it's your best interest to show up and take notes considering the two midterms and final are right from the notes he gives. Also has HW that is straight from the back of the textbook.

I had him for PHY1610 & PHY1620 over the summer. I honestly loved him even though his honesty can sometimes come across as rude to some people. He's a great guy at heart and helped me a lot! The grade won't be super easy. You just have to pay attention to the detail and listen to what he's telling you. Skim through the book but PRACTICE is key.

Dr. Sadoqi is one of the most generous & caring professors I've ever had the privilege of having here at St. John's. Not only does he make physics easy to understand with his multitude of examples, he takes everything from your class notes & always lends a helping hand. If you study & do the work as you should, you will do fine (:

Dr. Sadoqi is one of the best professors I've ever had during my academic career. Physics is an intimidating subject, but he teaches in a way that makes you have a clear grasp and understanding. As long as you study and put in effort you have the ability to do great! Amazing professor! would definitely take again if I could :)

Lecture is a MESS: sometimes he'll do problems completely wrong & have to start ALL over. He moves fast so you don't know where he gets numbers from and even he gets confused & gives the class a 5min break. BUT going to his office hours helps a LOT. Much better explanations. Only midterm, final, and online HW. HW helps you understand a lot. Not bad

Professor Sadoqi is a great teacher and lecturer and makes you understand all the material very clearly. I took him in the summer so this may not be the same experience other students have had during the year but he was a class act and wonderful professor in the summer. You need to pay attention and study to learn all the material for tests though.

He rushes through every lecture and gets frustrated when students ask questions. He will spend 5 minutes on an entire chapter just to say he taught it so it can be on the exam.

He has good intentions but he makes it extremely clear that he does not enjoy teaching. Goes so fast to cover the curriculum that it leaves students very confused. He also is very rude to students, and it makes me afraid to ask a question. I would not recommend.

Dr. Sadoqi is perhaps the best instructor I've ever had the privilege of meeting and learning from. He does not teach memorizing textbooks and notes, he teaches "thinking scientifically" so that at the end of his course, you are at par with the best minds in the field.

It's not an easy class but if you are willing to do the work and pay attention in class you'll be fine. Everything comes mostly from the textbook. He is always willing to help and He even reviews before the test. He seems tough at the beginning but he is a really nice prof. The webassign are tough but he gives u enough time to complete them.

Wanna pass physics? TAKE. Wanna pass the MCAT? DONT. He goes over problems directly from the textbook. He outs the same questions on every test with a few numbers changed around. The answers to do well are very straight forward. He gets lazy sometimes but a great professor if you ask him for help. Take this professor!

Comment:
The class is very straightforward. Whatever he does during class is on the test. The test comes straight from the notes and not from the textbook. He also has a review before exams which is helpful. Although I must say he is lazy and the class isn't too helpful for the MCAT, its easy if you just want to pass Physics easily.

Not helpful in the slightest. I want to get into theoretical physics, and after taking his course in electricity and magnetism, I knew nothing of the subject for the physics GRE. Don't take him if you want to learn anything.

Lets students write exams on whatever date they want. When students arrived to the midterm, some complained about not being ready and he let them write it the following week. He will move back the webexams if the class needs more time. He managed to lose a few exams and didn't bother showing up to the final. Class always starts late too.
