Easy A if you do the work thoroughly and effectively. Pretty straight forward with what is expected. Very down to earth guy. Assignments are easy, tests are easy as well but require studying of some sort. Offers 2 extra credit assignments which is awesome for raising your grade.

Annoying class. He gives a bunch of quizzes, "in class essays" and pointless outside essays. I did two extra credit assignments and still only got a C+. I wouldn't recommend this class at all. If you hate History and take this class, you will be in my boat.

Overall he is a great professor, one of the best I've had at MCLA. He has a good grasp of the material he teaches and always chooses interesting reading materials over boring text books. He goes out of his way to help his students and thus has a great dialogue with them. He is always organized and prepared and it shows in his lectures. Great guy!

Learn a TON in this class, but all in lectures. He requires 3 big 10pagers and 3 big tests, but he's a pretty easy grader. Classes can be reeeeeeeally boring at times. He's a really nice guy though, very very understanding.
