Okay, he is a nice guy but could improve on his teaching. He loses track of what he was talking about very quickly, and a lot of class is discussing things that are not interesting or even related to what we are learning - I was bored often. Some of the texts were interesting, but I didn't learn much from his class. 4 big and hard papers.

He's a nice, patient, and thoughtful man, but not a great teacher. I couldn't understand what he wants, or what he's teaching. Confusion is there most of the time for me. Talked about topics not related to writing more! I wouldn't recommend if you need a lot of help with writing, but if you are good on your own, go ahead.

He is not that good of an English teacher. He is not clear on his assignments, and he does not teach anything relevant to class. I found myself daydreaming because he would get so off topic, and the writing projects made no sense whatsoever. He is a nice guy, just not a good teacher.

He didn't really actually teach anything except basic grammar. He would make bible references almost every class. I felt like he barely even understood what he was teaching. Nice guy but most of our points were based on papers that most people couldn't quite figure out what they were even supposed to be writing about.

This was a horrible experience with this teacher. He would tell you that you could write about something and approve it then later goes back on his word. Also he wants you to use cscc library only for research projects no google or anything else

Nice teacher however he doesn't really know how to tell about the assignments another words what he really wanting from you. He grades very hard from the start. The class is exspected to read numerous pages which no one does lol. I would not recommend this teacher unless he can tell you for sure what he wanting...

I have had him for 1100 and 2367 and sure he is forgetful and when he teaches he gets off track but I loved him he is very helpul. Work is easy I recommended. He has some humor in class and often tells stories that arent about class :)

Horrible teacher, all we did was read the handbook and write papers. He didn't actually teach anything and we never got our papers back until three weeks after the next one was assigned. Would never recomend him as a teacher!

Not alot of communication. Juat read the Blair Reader and wrote essays. I did not feel I learned anything from this class. Nice teacher, just wish he would have taught us something useful or prepared us for Eng 102. I've learned more from Eng 102 in 4 weeks then I learned in the whole quarter in 101.
