Comment:

Mr. Plondke is a pretty chill teacher. He lectures most of the time during class, which is boring sometimes, but I found that the lectures are actually really informative and easy to understand. The lectures and slides really help me with the midterms. He also gives study guides/review handouts before tests which helps you with whats on the midterm

He is super chill. As long as you pay attention in class while he is lecturing, you will be fine. He takes attendance, which does count for points. I didn't show up all the time, and I have an A.

He is lenient with grades. He gives extra credit for earthweek, and just participate and that can carry your whole overall grade. Lectures may seem long and dull at times but he is very kind.

Plondke was actually a really nice guy. His classes were basically all lecture and takes attendance every day but his tests are super easy. Requires you to get the textbook but we never used it in class and was more of a supplemental material. He gives extra handouts to help understand the material and we had a few class discussions

It's hard to stay awake in Prof Plondke's class but you can tell he truly wants you to succeed. Dropped in during office hrs once & found him to be very kind & helpful. Hw - online and rare. Quizzes - easy, just study notes. EC take home quizzes, 2 take home tests. Got B's on midterm & final and got an A thx to EC & quiz grades, take him! EASY A

I honestly wasn't expecting a high passing grade on this class since I received a C on both the midterm and the final. He has a very monotone voice which makes it hard to stay awake during the long lectures. He has a major group project which is an easy grade bumper. He does offer EC which helps A LOT for your final grade. Overall a nice guy.

Easy teacher, he tells you to keep up by reading the chapters but that isn't fully necessary. Very chill, isn't strict about attendance at all. Midterm and final are in class and there is one opportunity for easy EC as well as a mandatory presentation to pass the class. Overall an EASY A, I took him first semester as a freshmen and it was great!

this was evening class, but never stood the entire time, work at own pace, miss a class, you can catchup, easy, no book, no test, no notes, LOVED HIM, I wish every teacher was the same. Really nice older teacher. If you can read step by step instructions, you can pass. great for freshman, no stress

Mr.Plondke is an okay teacher, he is monotone at times you have to keep yourself interested. I was interested in the global environment aspects of the class, but someone who isn't would probably be bored out of their mind. If you go to class everyday and take all notes, and review the powerpoints from class, you should get an A or B easily.

OVERALL THE CLASS WAS RELATIVELY EASY. BORING POWERPOINT PRESENTATION LECTURES THAT HE MAKES AVAILABLE ON BLACKBOARD. NOT REALLY MUCH HOMEWORK, MAINLY QUIZZES, EXAMS, AND TAKE HOME TEST. HE ALSO OFFERED 40 POINTS OF EXTRA CREDIT. I GOT A B+ WITH A D+ EFFORT.

Plondke is a really nice and helpful professor. His classes tend to be not so fun, but they're an easy A! Just a few notes during class(I barely touched the book), and the tests are based on the study guides.

Mr Plundke is is nice and very knowledgeable on the subject, helpful. Make sure you show up to class, follow the syllabus assignments, take notes and you should pass with a good grade. Some group/class participation. Test a bit tricky, but nothing too scary. He can be a bit boring at times, but don't let that be a deal breaker!

Very, very boring. People are right about his monotone voice, BUT he is the easiest geog 1 teacher at Chabot. He offers a TON of extra credit. I know people that should have received C's getting B's and A's. So easy with him. I know other people with other teachers just struggling. He's also really nice and understanding.

class is easy, but teacher speaks in monotone, interesting class and he will let you turn in late work, he tells you to read but you dont have to read the book. i always leave 30 minutes early and still got a B+. i would recomend this class if you are interested in the subject or want an easy A or B.

He speaks in a VERY boring monotone voice and he is seriously boring. I never felt the need or desire to go to class and with all of the notes coming straight from the book, there wasn't much point to attend. The test's were usually never from the chapters he told us to read and were difficult to understand. I do not advise this teacher at all.

I took this online. I often had to contact the teacher to correct his mistakes on quizzes. I would have the right answer, but he had given an incorrect "correct" answer, so I would be marked wrong. Also, his questions are vague, esp. true/false. It was still overall an easy class.
