Mrs. Moyer is an excellent teacher for this course. She is very thorough when it comes to explaining the material. She takes time to go over the homework assignments, which are optional, and to go over any questions anyone might have. You have tests, quizzes, and a final.

I have to disagree with some of the posts. Prof. Moyer was excellent!!! I hated algebra, and not that I like it any better now, I am able to understand it, thanks to her. She held a math lab for extra help and I thought she was very basic in her teaching methods. I had another prof. for this last fall and dropped it because she was awful!

I was a bad math student before i had mrs. moyer. Now math doesn't scare me anymore! You have to be to class on time so she can start right away with answering question. She was the best teacher i had at LCCC, she lets you decide how you want to do a math problem she doesn't force you to do one way

By the time I found out this was her first time teaching it was too late. I was too far into the class for it to matter. Does NOT concentrate on the concepts introduced, shows it once and proceeds to show us the 'hardest' way to solve.
