Professor Kollar is the best in the business. He is funny and caring from day 1. He covers a lot of material, but does it effectively by using a combo of in class problems and connect. He is a great professor!

One of, if not the best, professor I've ever had! His class is difficult but he gives you all the tools to succeed if you put in the work. Explains everything in great detail and he tells you what will be on the exam.

Bob is a sweet and kind man. I would imagine that he would be good at teaching upper-level accounting classes, but he isn't very good at teaching the basics of accounting. If you take him, study hard and take note to when he says "this will probably be a test question" because it most certainly will be on the test. He does cold call.

Professor Kollar has forgotten more accounting information than I will ever know. The man is a true genius in every sense of the word. He definitely provided me with the necessary guidance I needed to properly enhance my studies in the field of accounting.

Professor Kollar is a great professor. He explains everything in class very well and usually hints at specific problems that will be on the test. There is homework due for each chapter that helps boost your grade at the end if you need it. You have to put in effort if you want to pass this class; it is not an easy A. Extra credit is offered.

Bob Kollar is one of the best professors I have ever had, and I would absolutely take him again. He writes everything on the board, goes over many examples and practice problems in class, answers questions, provides exam prep materials, and offers extra credit on all of his exams. He is super sweet, and very accessible outside of class. Take him!

Great Professor. His partial credit on exam problems is basically nonexistent. If you have a small adding error that carries through the whole problem you'll lose most of your points. He is very good with examples and teaching, and will usually respond with emailed questions

He is a great teacher! He gives great step by step notes on everything, but the tests are challenging. He works out of the book and only gives online homework that is easy points! His tests are hard but if you study his good notes, you can manage a B in this class

Great Professor. He really wants you to do well and gives a lot of great real life examples. Be warned though that his partial credit on exam problems is very little. If you have a small adding error that carries through the whole problem you will miss points for it over and over again

Excellent teacher who really knows his stuff and how to communicate it. Be prepared to study for his tests. The first one is easy but the second one is much tougher. He WILL make you learn the stuff if it kills you. His real life examples are great. The honors service project is a real pain but worth it in the end.

Fantastic Professor! If you are an accounting major he is a must to take as many times as you can during your academic career. I also strongly feel non-accounting majors should take him because 1. you won't be bored, 2. you will learn the material, and 3. you will have fun in class.

Class is hard, doesnt matter who you take. Gives handouts for all the assignments. Goes EXTREMELY fast. I believe he feels everyone has had accounting before. If you havent you need to learn..quickly. Very helpful and understanding. If you need extra time, he will not hesitate to give you it. If my interest was higher, I would have done better.

I don't understand all the good comments for Kollar? He's one of the worst teachers I've ever had. He grades hard as hell (if you mess up one part on a question and it domino's, you miss the entire problem... especially rough on tests)... Doesn't hand back his dumb assignments and his final is 12 pages of hell. Take Austin she's alot easier
