Dr. O'Shea is ridiculous. She is too old to be teaching anymore. She does not teach anything that is on the midterm or final. Her papers and projects are easy points, but her tests will kill your grade. Good luck.

Horrible prof. If you don't have to take her DONT. She is incredibly boring. Her notes are on blackboard so you don't have to take notes. She always contradicts herself and she doesnt explain anything to you until a few days before an assignment is due like its your only class. do not take this woman unless you want to be miserable

Class was very easy..only a midterm and final along with two projects. didn't have to take the final if you didn't want too! midterm was 8 ch. tho. She says you need to read the book or you won't pass..thats bull. I would have never have gone to the class if she didn't take attendance...class was pointless

She is a joke. Easy class dont take notes, def dont buy the book, go to all classes doodle and pay little attention, write the two papers, and take the first test. I got a B and did nothing. SO EASY but shes VERY BORING/annoying.

In my class you didn't have to buy your powerpoints. She is a sweet lady, although really boring and her lectures were pointless. Her class was fairly easy. 2 short easy papers, 1 test, and an the optional final. I got 100% on both papers, and a B on the test and had a B in the class. So you have to really study for the test, it was kinda tricky.

despite her reputation she wasnt that bad. fairly easy and interesting class, very organized. only 12 week course which was great. have to buy your powerpoints though and she speaks VERY monotone which tends to put me to sleep.

Dr. OShea is one of the nicest teachers on campus. She really cares about her students and is willing to help. The tests were not too bad and the chapters to read are simple. It is a shame that this professor recieves so many frowny faces. It makes me a little sad actually. we all need to learn to accept each other for who we are.

HORRIBLE TEACHER and VERY BORING. She provides all notes that she reads in class but you have to read 8 chapters for both tests! ITS HORRIBLE .. tests come from the book info. Her so called lectures or pointless to listen to she says things like " You cant read someone's lips by standing behind them" NO LIE SHE SAID THIS. DONT TAKE HER IF U DONT HA

Where to begin... O'shea needs to be in special ed herself. She doesn't know how to speak and talks like she has a speech impediment. She favors students over the age of 35 and thinks everyone else needs "special education". Basically- shes an awful teacher and no one likes her. Hey O'shea- the 80's called, they want their hair back!

This teacher refused to give me credit for an answer on a test even when I showed her that it had come directly from the book. She mispronounces words, and basically has no grasp of the English language, which makes no sense sense she is American. If you're intelligent, do not take this woman. She'll drive you nuts.

Nowhere near enough space to explain how poor of a instructor she is. In short- Lectures are unbearably boring, Tests are huge and difficult, assignments take hours to get ANY credit yet only worth 10 pts, won't round up a 89.7% to a 90% for an A. PLEASE! for your own good, stay away from her.
