Comment:

Loveliest professor I've had at HVCC. She is very attentive and provides very detailed notes and explanations. Took her online and she's got the distance learning course thing down to a science. Very easy to reach if you have any questions. Quizzes and Tests are 1 try, but you get the questions ahead of time. So if you prep, piece of cake.

One of the most genuinely nice Professors on campus. Really cares about every student, and wants you to do well. Very accommodating if needed. Final is 35% of the final grade which is quite high. I did not need the textbook.

I had an A, after the Final I came out with a dreadful C. If you study a bit and actually have some math skills, you most definitely can get an A. The final is worth 40%, which is high. If you do pretty well on the final, you will be okay. I didn't buy a book, I was fine without it.I would take this class again, but I would approach it differently.

The worst math class I have ever taken. She took subjects that I correctly knew how to do, and made them incredibly confusing. She only teaches the long ways to do the problems, and she constantly makes mistakes.

Prof Schoonmaker is absolutely fantastic. I'm horrible at math, and for the first time ever, I'm learning so much. I'm taking a course online with her. She's super organized, and her expectations are crystal clear. Great, great lady.

She was a very nice women. The material was kind of hard and her notes didn?t always make sense. But if you do, do the homework and study for the test you will do fine. The only thing that through me off was her accent that goes in and out while she teachers.

Very nice lady, her tests are very straight forward; gives full notice of upcoming quizes and tests. Her notes are organized and easy to understand. Always willing to help a student to need and very approchable. She is a bit hard-of-hearing.
