He knows the material so well and will answer your questions in class if you are confused. His class moves very quickly due to the amt. of material that needs to be covered. Weekly quizzes will be hard to complete if your attendance is poor. Take stats with this guy! I found other stats professors to be harsh graders or just plain confused.

He's a very great teacher !! I highly recommend him, but however, there is a quiz every week. If you do the assignments every night and study you will do fine.

Hinders is a great professor. Friendly, understandable, wants you to succeed! Ask questions if you're unclear about something and he'll be happy to explain. His lectures are important because he goes through how to do each type of problem for what you're tested on. Recommended!!

This class was very confusing and Mr. Hinders said he would rather get through chapters than give us enough time to take a test. Not enough quiz or test time and he gets easily confused during lectures because he messes up his wording.

Awesome teacher. Took two of his classes at the same time, Finite and Trig. I am not a big fan of math but enjoyed his classes. Very clear on explanation and assignments. Gives tremendous opportunity for learning and improvement. Highly recommend for all math courses.

if you want an A in the class you need to go "above and beyond". if you only learn what he teaches, you can get a C... maybe a B. quizzes and tests are hard. i do all the hw, go to class everyday, and study at least an hour or so for tests and i have a D... not recommended for those bad at math.

stat cant be any easier than that! you will find that stat is a piece of cake after taking this class, he is extremely helpful and his class is extremely easy, i bet to say he is the easiest professor for stat in foothill! if you dont take him, you will definitely regret!!!!

he's too smart! it's as if he can't comprehend why the students are confused and can't break the problems down to the most basic level to explain them. for advanced classes i'm sure he's spectacular but for math 105 it's like our questions just made him angry and frustrated. really nice guy but by the end of the class i had to just give up. :(

it was wonderful taking this class as the clarity of the explanation was so great that it greatly improved my understanding of the subject as well as decreased my fear of math. I even like math a LOT now!

I thought I was really strong in math until I took his class. He gives so much homework and you never seem to understand it because the class lectures are so difficult to understand. He gives quizzes every week and some of them are pretty difficult. Other students who had taken math 10 already said he was a lot better compared to the other teachers

He has really bad hand writing and goes really fast. When students ask him to slow down, he never does. Gives homework that is never graded, so you are entirely responsible for how well you understand things. You have to work really hard for a good grade in his class. Study for his tests in particular. He also has strict rules.

He's a good teacher but I worked my butt off to get a B. He's kinda confusing sometimes, and when he explains things, it's very mathematical. Not recommended if you need a lot of help with math. Overall nice guy, though.

He is the BEST Math10 instructor!!! Very nice and always there to help you out. He teaches really well and what you gotta do is to do the homework, prepare for each quizzes and tests, then you will definitely get an A. He curves when everyone doesnt do well in the test, but that doesnt always happen.

an easiest math class i've ever taken. Quizes are easy but the test is a little bit challenging. Some oppourtunities for extra credits, and he'll drop the lowest mid-term score + quiz score.
