Ed is a great teacher who is caring. He takes time to help those who are struggling with concepts. He is well respected and marks fairly according to the grading criteria. Ed is genuinely very interested in the subject matter which makes class discussions a lot more fun!

Ed is a fantastic instructor and my favorite at NAIT. He will go above and beyond to help you understand. If you participate in his classes, you will finish with above average. I had him for ORGB, Advanced ORGB, Communications, and Requirements Elicitation. I have worked my schedule around his and LOVED every minute of his classes. THANKS ED : )

Ed is awesome. He is an example of an instructor who loves his job and does the magic of making boring content become nice and interesting. His lectures are never boring and he is hilarious! Super recommend him as a teacher, also because he chooses the best movies and TV shows for case studies ;-)

Took this class before they revised the material given. Ed is the most chilled instructor I've ever had and would recommend him for several different classes. Super chill and easy to get along with, isn't a tough marker for assignments. Honestly most of the classes I took with Ed have been GPA boosters.

I've had the pleasure of being taught by Ed for three classes. Out of all the instructors at NAIT, Ed seems to have mastered the perfect balance between friendly and stern, and that makes him super approachable. The feedback throughout all of my courses with him, have slowly helped me with building a foundation of confidence. Thank you, Ed!

Honestly, he was probably one of my favorite instructors when I went to NAIT. Funny, easy to get along with, and for a subject that could have been incredibly boring, he made it pretty fun. If you hate Doctor Who, avoid. He is a big Doctor Who fan.

I do not have enough nice things to say about Ed. He made a subject that could be really boring, interesting for everyone in the class. I'm not usually a student that talks in class but Ed brought my out of my shell. I would take anything that Ed was teaching. Also, if you want to get in his good books just talk about Emma Stone.

He treats his students like teammates working on a common goal. He is inspirational but also understanding. He knows his stuff, and researches his topics to stay knowledgeable and up to date. I feel that other instructors could learn for they way he approaches student-instructor interactions.

If you get him for any class you are extremely fortunate. He's funny, witty, charming, silly, intellegent, warm... an overall great guy. If you don't understand something and you ask a question, he won't mind at all answering. For IST 370, he will tell you to read the book -- actually do it! Really great, hope to have him again for another class.
