One of the best at Rollins. This man is just wonderful. Mind like a library, kind, and will go out of his way to give his students what they need. Words are not enough, and that's coming from an English major.

I had Dr. Cohen for Sherlock Holmes and he made me really love studying literature. His knowledge of Victorian culture really made the stories come to life, and his assignment to write two papers was not too challenging.

very boring course. he says theres an attendance policy, but wont count it against you. will not penalize others or give outside help of any kind. He does not read papers and just gives you a grade depending on previous grades, skimming, and what he does in class. BUT OVERALL EASY A!!!take it if you need a break, just go to at least 1 class a week

Extremely easy, barely reads papers, has no real deadlines. Great if you need to take a nap or bring up a GPA but for those wanting to learn something he'll dissapoint. Truly one of the departments weaker points.

The first academic based lit class I have actually learned something in at Rollins. Dr. Cohen is the most knowledgeable professor I have had, and was always so enthusiastic and helpful. He is a great man and you should def take one of his classes before you graduate!

I've never had a class with him, but worked with him on committees and he is extremely nice, helpful, very open to student input, very affiliative and democratic, & likes to build consensus or at least make sure everyone's voice is heard and justly considered. Simply, he seemed like a great person.
