Comment:
Dr. Miller is the worst teacher I have ever had. He is not clear AT ALL about what he teaches, he jumps around, and his notes on the board are scribble. He gives you a study guide does not help. He is very rude 90% of the time and teaches as if you understand the material when fact you do not at all. Not recommended whatsoever.

Class is very boring. The study guides for the test are not very helpful. He is very intimidating. Every question you answer is wrong, and he will call on you randomly and get mad if you don't answer the question "right". Class feels like it goes on forever. I would never take another class taught by him. Awful.

extremely boring, class feels like it will never end. he tries and gives you "Hints" what will be on the test but then really puts ridiculous questions that are no where near what he "hinted". I personally found him intimidating. He claims he does not believe in "randomly calling on people in class" but he does it the entire class lol

Dr. Miller is a NICE man! He has a soft, monotone voice, & religion is not the most exciting subject so, yes, the class can get a little boring. BUT he's clear about what'll be on the tests & he posts all important materials on blackboard.com. Study, complete the written assignments, try not to fall asleep, & you'll be fine.

He rambles on about things you dont need to know. He is hard to understand and hear. He lectures alot about things you do not need to know. His tests are very easy. He makes you buy two books which you use everyday to look up one line. Buying them was usless for me but you have to bring them to class.

Mr. Miller is a nice man, but he can put you to sleep if you aren't interested in religion. He is always willing to help, but his tests are very challenging, You have to retain a lot of information. But his assignments aren't too bad.

He has a dry teaching method, but he is very knowledgeable and I felt he was interesting if you listen to him and take notes. In my experience, he is very willing to help you out. He also uses different testing methods (objective, subjective, take home) to try to make sure everyone does well on at least one test.

(at lasalle university) miller seemed to really know his stuff, and breathed life into an otherwise dull intro course. workload was light, he's strict about lateness but very helpful if you come to him early with a problem. yeah, boring, but he grew on me, maybe it was the rare humor...?

He single handedly scaring me away from the honors program. I have never dreaded going to a class as much as his because he felt the need to put everyone down and expected way too much.

His class is difficult, and I take notes and pay attention in class. He puts things on his test that you need to definately look into your notes. A lot of the stuff put on the tests aren't on the study guide, they are in your notes.
