Super nice man, doesn't give any lab-quizzes. He gave multiple opportunities for extra credit and if you were having trouble with the material, he made sure to help you out. Class was very easy. Only homework was the lab reports.

Great professor! Makes the material very easy to understand. He is very funny and makes a point of trying to learn everyone's name. Watch out though, he often picks on people in class so be sure to know the answer! Definitely would take a class with him again.

Overall an easy professor. Simple explanations for 121 material, although at times it seems like the foundation could have been better to prepare students for 122- especially if you get a hard professor. Great for lab, but for lecture try finding a professor that will better prepare you for the latter of the chem series.

This guy is all over the place. His teaching methods, as others have stated before, are weak. His lectures are confusing and I rely mainly on the text to get by. For those who want to understand chemistry well, I do not recommend. He's funny sometimes, but that's it. I wish I was able to get into Anz's lecture instead.

Dr. Walton definitely has the enthusiasm in his teaching abilities, however his teaching ability is very limited. Class lectures went vaguely into course material and test required textbook knowledge. More learning was achieved through reading the textbook. Great for comedic relief, bad for teaching.

Prof. Walton is very interesting to say the least. He really tries to get everyone to stay involved in the subject, and he succeeds most of the time, but overall, I just wasn't fond of his teaching abilities. He would only show us some things the way he did them, never really the way the book did it. He's got a reputation for being easy, but he's n

Dr. Walton provides students with that "Bill Nye the Science Guy" kind of fun when teaching chemistry! I seriously had "Walton withdrawals" after the course was over. I hope Cal Poly never looses this incredible professor!

Time in his class flies by rather quickly as he's very enthusiastic. He likes to pick on students now and then for fun (probably to try to get them involved also). His tests are pretty decent, but you have to attend his lectures daily as he doesn't follow the syllabus completely and assigns a hwk problem or a few every now & then. Would recommend.

This man is so cool! He makes chem lab fun and not boring at all. He explains the whole lab at the beginning of class, so don't worry if you didn't read the procedure ahead of time. I highly recommend him to everyone.
