Dr. Reed will go above and beyond to help you if you need it. Her linguistics class is extremely hard but she is trying to change the way that class will be taught from now on. The class was hard but she is wonderful.

An amazing woman and professor. She knows what shes talking about & helps you whenever you need it. Her class is SO much FUN! :) You'll hate to be absent because you'll miss alot! Yes she's tough, but you'll learn alot & if you're passionate about writing or english then you want her as a professor!

Dr. Reed is pretty much a saint. She is what ever professor should be: intelligent, helpful, challenging and precise. I changed my major to PW because of her advice. Good class. Makes you really think about the world that we live in.

She's really cynical in a really funny way. Very smart and knows what she's talking about. If you don't do your work she won't like you, and for some reason people get upset about that... riiiight. She's a great professor, my favorite at Kutztown, and a great person!

AMAZING teacher! Very hard but you will come out of the class writing better than ever before. If you are pro writing take her as a freshmen. it will be hard but you will write better the rest of your college career. Don't be afraid of her! She is VERY funny and very willing to help, she just won't baby anyone. I've never learned more from a class

For being a 100 level class, her approach is incredibly difficult to get used to. Every paper you write for her follows the same rubric, so if you do not understand it the first time, then your pretty much screwed. She is a good professor, and i think she turns out good writers, but she needs to learn how to be more compassionate.

Professor Reed is a no nonsense, no BS type of teacher. She gives you her expectations and expects you to meet them. She is an awesome teacher, very helpful, but she will hammer your writing, not in a mean way, but to always make you better. You will come out of this class a much better writer. It's a lot of work though, but definitely worth it

Doctor Reed is one of those professors that pushes you to do your best, but in the end it is worth it because you become a better writer and critical thinker. If you are serious about your education, take her! She is hard, but very helpful and funny!!

Amazing teacher..very cool. Class...not so cool. Lots of article reading, lots of critical thinking and response. Make sure you write your papers to the best of your ability..spend time..effort..etc, or you'll die. Overall..a love/hate class.

The class wasn't bad, but soooo F'n political. She is so disgustingly liberal that she is almost anti-american. It was hard to listen to her without getting completely enraged at times. Ok, so Dr. Reed may not be the easiest prof around, but she's the best. If you try at all, she will help you. Also, someone said she favors boys? So not true...she's the director of the women's center. Take her. She may be seem evil or frightening at first, but eventually, she will be your angel.

this class is stressful, but it's amazing the kinds of things you pick up on after taking the class. study for the exams like crazy. the paper and group presentation at the end can get stressful, but just try to stay ahead of it and you'll be ok. reed has such a good sense of humor and keeps the class entertained. cool woman. glad it's over though.
