She is absolutely horrible! I received an "A" in student teaching seminar. She told the whole class that we can use her as a reference. When I did, Principals have told me that she said bad things about me. Even though I got an "A". She makes no sense at all in class and teaches useless information that you will never use.

Easy grading for presentations but unclear because she doesn't fully follow the syllabus. She gives hints for the midterm/final but only some of them are helpful, making these tests hard. She told us to only know what's on her review sheets for the final yet asked ?s not on it, which annoyed me & I didn't actually learn anything in this course.

She is extremely unclear in her requirements and grading. Her unit plan is a joke; just a bunch of random incoherent ****. Take Gokey or Whitby, cause you won't learn a thing with Herold.

If she doesn't have anything to say on her observation reports she will make it up. No idea of what is going on in our school today and what real teacher's in classrooms must do to get the attention of our students. Not only that but she can't speak correctly saying things like "Tip of the penguin," intead of iceburg.

Obviously senility does not constitute retirement. To many things to mention but she is a very confused woman who forgets things and does not understand what is going on around her. She is also rude and made comments about not wanting to take one student's book into her car because it "smelled." Please retire! We need helpful instructors.

Evidently she doesn't feel the need to share her grading rubric with students. She believes that 'check marks' constitute an appropriate grading system - and then pulls final grades out of the air. Each week students are assigned to teach a chapter of the text book - she didn't teach A SINGLE LESSON the entire semester. Not a bad gig if you ask me

This professor is a detriment to this college. She is underhanded and is not upfront with her students. Her knowledge is limited at best and she will not even consider listening to reason outside her own. Professors like this are what make you hate college.

I found this teacher to be very willing to spend time after class with any student that needed help or advice. She made sure that no student was left behind and provided the class with vital information for teachers.

I didn't really enjoy her class...she'd expect you to understand her directions (which were immensely unclear) then grade you upon a set of requirements that existed only in her mind...boring class with an uptight, overly-conservative teacher

I absolutely abhor this teacher! She is unclear in every way possible, her directions change with every dictation, her grading policy is ambiguous and her overall way of thinking is elementary...even though she is a nice person, it is time for her to go.

she's a little...ehm...eccentric. she's really nice, but very old school. things have to be done the way she wants them done. if she doesn't approve, you're doing it over. class is mostly discussion, not many notes, no tests or quizzes.
