Easy A. However, I don't feel like I've learnt anything from the class. If you do all the hw, read, and study for a bit. You will definitely pass! She provides extra credit too!

Easy A. The online class by Burns is a piece of cake! I would do the homework at the end of the week and save the homework because that's what used to be on the test. Took her for both Econ 1 and Econ 2.

DO NOT TAKE! You are required to purchase access to Aplia for $137 (no hope in saving on used textbooks). Your grade is 60% Exams (3 total), 30% Aplia exercises (tedious and don't relate to the exam material), and 10% participation. The professor is unorganized and unhelpful, so proceed at your own risk and be prepared to teach yourself everything.

Course materials are clear & easy to understand; problem sets require thought. Textbook is an online version that costs a small fortune. 3 tests during the quarter. A few errors in test questions. Instructor claims to credit for these. 10% of grade depends on students using online forums to ask questions, but prof. rarely provides useful answers.

You have weekly hw on this website called Aplia. Thats all the work you have to do, minus studying, but goddamn that thing is annoying. Lots of reading, weird questions. Try going for a different teacher. Also, she sounds like a robot in her messages, really automated. Try to avoid her, but if you legitimately try, you can get an A.

This class is difficult. You will HAVE to read and the tests are timed so you can't rely too much on the books. Weekly assignments are pretty tough and time consuming. She's not very helpful and will give you one sentence answers to your questions, mostly referring you back to the syllabus or previous posts. NOT easy but will get A if you work hard.

The online class was a complete waste of time. the materials & website was poorly organized. If you enjoy staring at the computer all day, with cats on your lap while drinking tea,and into touchy feeling group setting, and have your email fill w/junk, then her class is for you.If you work full time and have a life, then don't bother enrolling.

The class is not hard but you will need to read the chapters for sure. It is an online class so you will be teaching yourself. Burns is not helpful at all. She answers 1/10 of questions asked. She has automated responses, which begin with "Hi -your name-" which makes it seem real. She doesn't read your questions most of the time.

I took this one online. At first I hate her because her class seems unorganized and there are so much work but here are some tips: try your best to do your online homework although it's a lot. Try to do around 15 extra credits (she only asks for 12 but do 15 and she would give you half a letter grade boost to your final grade). Good luck.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Unless you are already an econ wise it is hard online. It is a ton of work and the consepts are not easy. If you have to take it to transfer I would do it with an instructor and a lab near by.

Difficult class with a fair & helpful instructor. Keys to an A are consisent homework performance, understanding of material, and request for help as soon as you run into trouble w/material. Burns is a fair grader. Alternate final exam available!

She is a very knowledgeable professor in her field. Loved both her online Micro and Macro Economics classes. Always provides feedback and answers your questions, which is very important for an online class. Extra credit is helpful if you want to learn more about what's going on in current economy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!!

its very well organized online class. It does require tons of reading, but its all valuable. Hard to get an A on assignments, group work because she wants answers, not only correct, but completely accurate. Exams are difficult and lengthy, but a very nice curve. Overall, its a great online class, just requires to stay on top every week.

Weekly assignments and tests are not to bad. Completely based on the text since she never lectures, must be nice for her. I think she's a fare grader but she knows nothing. Students ask for her opinion on her economic thought and she says nothing. Tells you to read some article or look online for information. We asked for your thoughts...Hello

Don't take her!!! Just don't!!! The worst online class I've ever taken...The teacher knows nothing. Crazy loads of reading and assignment. Impossible to get an A on the short answer assignments unless your answer is matched to her answer word to word. Curve is useless. She uses unfriendly tone in answering email. Horrid!

I took the online class & there was a rediculous amount of reading between the text, notes & articles she gives. I would have saved more time taking it in person. She's not helpful in answering questions. She'll just tell you to look it up. The best part is she grades on a very nice curve.

I had to teach myself a lot, but she provided the necessary tools for me to discover knowledge. She is extremely nice, if a little overwhelmed by grading all of the essays. The group projects were the only negative I can say about her courses because not all group members participated.
