Do not pay to take her as a professor. The class is full of completion projects but she is super dry and has no personality. This could have been an interesting class but she did not carry that perception out.

She was very nice. I did notice she did have favorites in class. She helped me when I needed help and she will talk to me after class. Sometimes her talks would go off topic. Have to write many papers and she is tough grader. Over all she was very nice and she was there to help if you needed it.

I wasn't suppose to have her as a teacher, but my professors switched last minute. She started out nice then I felt like that changed over the semester. I always had my work done on time, and she was really rude to me. If you ask for help she won't help you. I gave up at the end of the semester because she gave me C's on all my papers. #Rude

Doesn't put your grades in the system so you are clueless throughout the semester. She is very rude and any opinion that isn't her opinion is wrong. Pointless, long assignments and papers. This class could have been very fun and inspiring with a different professor.

She is very demanding ! She is also rude . Expects a lot of effort in class and has bad taste in movies. She assigns too much outside work, that is very pointless. I swear she does not know how to grade papers. She skips the content and grades on how she wants, she focuses too much grammar. I would not take this course or have her again.

I didn't sign up for her class but my class changed the week before school started without any notification and I'm still mad about it. She's strict at student's behavior but it's understandable. What I didn't like about her is that she gives no guidelines on essays and explains very vaguely. Also she makes you to print all the readings for one day

I took her my first semester.. She was incredibly rude and when I tried to look over my neighbor's shoulder because I couldn't print it out, she yelled at me to leave. She's rude and then when I asked her about my grade she told me to just drop because she was going to fail me. Avoid.

Very good teacher. Seems like tough shell to crack, but knows what she is doing. If you show that you are making an effort, you will pass this class. easy papers, just make sure you go to class so you dont miss too much of the material. in order to write good papers for this class, you need to take notes from class. overall very good teacher!

Worst class ever! Horrible teacher and mean spirited. Her papers are demanding. She has turned what could have been a great creative class into a nightmare. If you must take her,ask for status reports because although you feel confident with your grade, she is known for giving low grades and impossible to reason with.

Do NOT take this class unless you want to be completely embarrassed and feel awkward most classes. After torturing the class with her cornography and tasteless movie clips including PAGINA MONALOG and some documentary on a serial Tapist while a young girl finds her Mexuality or supposed women hood! Like really? Then wait until you get your grade.

Great teacher-I was dreading ENG101 because I dropped it years ago when I first attended college. Her syllabus was very clear, all instructions were included. Quizzes were easy, papers she graded fairly. I got an A in the class & I never went to the writing lab for help, which maybe I should have. Follow her instructions-you'll do fine!

I agree to the fact that she is not very clear sometimes about what needs to be done but its not very hard to just ask her what she means plus its all in the syllabus with explanation if you actually look. shes not one of those professors that make you look dumb cause you asked a question.she is actually helpful if you show that you want to learn

She's a terrible teacher. she assigns things without even teaching them. An example would be the final project, she asked everyone to croche or knit a sweater or scarf but never taught us how. She isn't helpful at all. Don't take her class, you will regret it!!

She's actually pretty good i mean yeah she has her moments..but who doesnt? she has a real big personality and gets pretty personal she talks ALOT ...i have english once a week and we basically get out an hour early so it's nice i mean she's not that bad

I really enjoyed this class, and i took a lot from it, but i would like to add that if you're lazy and don't want to do any work then you should probably stay away from this class. However, if you enjoy a class with substance and view your education as a training process for life and enjoy a good challenge, then this is the class for you.
