horrible proeffessor. like many have said, should have retired a long time ago. he said he refuses go give out A's. he gives out 10 questions which will be on the final, in which he will randomly pick 2 for each person. everyone still had a hard time passing his class. he tends to ramble on about some stuff that is irrelevent. stay away!

Where are all these good Reviews coming from. Roman is an abomination. He gives the worst lectures and it is impossible to write notes cause they are so scattered! He gave 95% of the class a D on the midterm. He is horrible. Think of your crazy grandfather teaching you stuff and testing you on it!!

Dr. Roman is a very tough Prof but if you are a history major you will learn a lot from him. He knows the stuff he is teaching and he can teach from memory. He will make you work and you have to do a lot on your own but you can learn a lot from him.
