Dr. Ernest R Mead was one fine gentleman. He touched the life of every student he taught. He is now up in the heavens teaching statistics to the angels and touching their lives. What a man! RIP Dr. Mead.

I heard the school is planning to make a new statistics building on campus to honour DR. Mead, and it will be called Mead Hall. In lieu of flowers, students gave crib sheets and formula sheets with statistics formulas and proofs, written beautifully at his funeral, that took place at the funeral home near signature spa on barton street. We miss him

The city of Hamilton is going to name a street near McMaster in memory of the Late Great Ernest Mead. It's going to be called Mead Street and there will be a giant picture of his head hanging from all the stop lights.

There is a saying "Only the good die young", Dr Mead proved it's true. A person like him deserved to live atleast 100 years. Everybody is missing him now. Even though he is not with us physically, he is there in our thoughts. We cherish the great moments he taught us actuarial math, and celebrate his life. His teaching skills were second to none.

Who says Dr. Mead is no longer with us. He is very much alive and still with us. He lives in our hearts and is alive in our memories. Everyone, even now, has wet eyes when Remembering Dr. Ernest Roy Mead. We still remember him with the highest regards and affection. He was a true gentle man and his glass was almost always half full. R.I.P

I really miss this professor. He was so kind to us. Although he did not provide a formula sheet and included lots of proof questions, he was still such a nice person. I was very shocked when I heard he is no more. May the Lord be with him. Dr. Mead you were the best actuarial professor that ever taught at Mcmaster!!!

I took his course in the summer and he was unbelievably mean. He wanted us to learn the formulas of the entire course!!! No professor ever does that. God bless him. When people would ask for information about exam, his standard reply was: This information has not been given out. All topics covered in class are eligible. People had nightmares.

He turned me away from Stats forever. I decided never to take any more stats after experiencing the nightmare of his class. He provided no formulas for the summer stats 2D03 section and gave such an super long exam. This prof was totally out of touch with reality. Everyone hated him with a huge passion but he was shameless enough to teach still.
