A real sweetheart! Really funny and invested in her students. About 3-4 speeches throughout the semester and a short reflection on each. She does critique your performance in front of the class with input from other students after each speech, so if that kinda stuff makes you uncomfy, find another prof. Textbook is online as pdf. Easy A

Prof. Maged is great if you want to put in minimal effort. First 30 min of class is wasted by her trying to get organized, so it's great if you need to get other work done. 4 speeches, and a take home midterm. Participate as much as possible. She gives the vibe of the traditional old white lady, and may take off points if you have an accent

Professor Maged is the sweetest professor ever. Attendance and participation is a must if you want an A it's not hard to participate at all just ask a question or make a comment after someones presentation. Gives good feedback, theres about 4-5 speeches and a take home midterm and your final is the last speech.

4-5 speeches, 1 essay, 1 open book midterm, HW are outlines and evaluations of speeches. take attendance every day, make sure not more than 3 absences. Nice pro. but not organized, always late even in exam day. want an essay A? take it.

She takes attendance. The textbook was used maybe twice, she does accept ebook version of the textbook and the textbook is easily available online. Take her she is a very easy grader as long as you pick interesting topics for her. So if she seems disinterested it would be easier to just pick something she likes rather than try to gain her interest

Prof Maged is such a sweet, funny old lady. Show up & participate A. Offers a lot of extra credit & makes speaking in class comfortable. She is very lenient bc she is always late and disorganized. Gives good feedback to improve but is biased on topics she doesn't like. she brought snacks on the last day of class. EASY A! WONDERFUL LADY!

If you want the easy way out with COM 1010, then take her. She never gives you lower than a B- for any speeches. The class is literally a easy B+ to an A. However, she is very disorganized and always late to class. Her midterm was supposed to be closed book because she is so disorganized she decided to make it an VERY EASY open book exam (easy 100)

Easy class. Just be on her good side. Assessment is based on a couple of speeches and just be clear and look at the audience and you'll be fine. The class is boring as hell though. Couldn't help but fall asleep every time. Btw, she gives extra credit if you volunteer to speak on the first day.

Class is very easy and low-stress but she is a bias grader. She will grade you according to how she feels about you and the topics you bring. Nice-seeming person but expect to be bored out of your mind while you sit next to a bunch of other uninterested students. You can't get below a B unless you don't do the work or don't show up.

She is very adorable and funny for an old professor. Though she is unorganized, she is very easy going with when you need to go for your speech. In the end, we're the ones forcing her to let us go for a speech. She does not force anyone to make their speech they feel uncomfortable. Easy class, 4 speeches, she takes attendance every class

Very unfair grader!! she definitely has her favorite students(those young male), so if you're not among them, you have no chance to get A no matter how hard you work, A. Super boring class lacking of organization. and she's late every time. you can learn nothing form her. Such a torture!

i have a feeling that she just throws out B+ grades freely. I received A/A- on everything, including my speeches, midterm, report, outlines...i was nowhere near the B+ mark, and yet that is still the grade i received. she simply has no consideration. her ticks and her annoying/pointless assignments are even more reason to believe i have wasted time

unfair grader! gave me a B+ when all my speeches were great. she has a certain things she wants student to say but many time shes not clear. besides giving the speech, most of the time is pretty relaxing, just sit there and listen to other people speak. you must make an outline that she doesnt really look at but grades them unfairly.
