If you go to class and read the assigned texts you will do well. He is a very inspirational professor and I would take this class over and over again (if I wasn't poor). This is hands down my favourite class. Take this class or something else Junus teaches, you won't regret it.

3% bonus available through SONA. 85% of the test material is in the textbook, class very helpful for the assignments given. Follow guidelines given in class and his format for the paper and you will do well. Amazing professor, would love to take another class with him.

Really easy prof. I almost never show up to class, but I do all of the textbook readings and I have an A+ in the course. He has midterms every 3 chapters which makes it a lot easier because there's less to study. Be warned though, his assignments are very long & a lot of work although if you back up your opinions you can get an easy A!

Junus is probably one of the easiest profs I've ever had. Expect to read because if you read every word in the textbook and pay attention to what you're reading you can easily get an A. I wouldn't even bother showing up to class as the textbook is much more important. Take it as a GPA booster because it is easy but there is a bit of workload.

Dr. Junus is one of my favourite professors at Dalhousie. I had the opportunity to have him for 2 courses during my undergrad. His lectures are very thorough and interesting; he includes lots of his clinical experience in his examples. Be warned: you will have to work hard for an A in his courses, but it is worth it.

Honestly he's a nice guy, but I didn't like the way he taught the class. 70% of test material is from the textbook. He insists students use his fill-in-the-blank skeleton notes, and goes too fast if you prefer to write your own notes. Paper isn't hard but he's VERY particular about format. Easy multiple choice tests, as long as you read the book.

I did not like him as a prof. He presented material from a cognitive-behavioral perspective only. When opinion questions were asked in class, as soon as someone had the same opinion as him the discussion was done. His research paper requires a fair bit of time but is not too difficult, but do not expect it back until the final.

Dr. Junus' makes an 830am class worth going to. Classes are very interesting and its full of his clinical experiences. Tests are a bit hard but a lot of hints if you go to class.

Worst prof in at Dal. Does not post notes online. You have to attend class and fill in blanks. Majority of the tests are from the textbook. He's really unorganized and it's hard to understand what he is saying. Don't take abnormal psychology from him.

Has a lot of experience obviously, his anecdotes are really helpful, and make certain disorders easier to remember. But I found his Abnormal Behavior class was just a smidgeon harder than the other 2nd year electives I took. Otherwise, I'd say he's average, nothing amazing, nothing bad.

By far the best psych prof I've ever had at Dal! Really knows his stuff and keeps you engaged throughout the entire lecture, even if it was a 8:30 in the morning! He always gives out hints about what might be on the tests, so although attendance isn't mandatory, it's a good idea to be there as much as you can!

One of the best profs at Dal. Material is a lot to learn and remember, BUT its all from the book-->which is very interesting as well. He makes lectures soo interesting that you feel going every Tuesday and thursday 8:30 am just for class. Very helpful, and understanding. Easy marker, but you need to work a lot

DOCTOR JUNUS IS THE BEST! Super hard marker and expects A LOT from students....but then again, what do you expect doing science at the university level? Amazing professor, really knows his stuff - lots of clinical expecience as well!

The class is at 8.30 am and I went to every one of them because of Dr. Junus. He is an excellent prof and teaches the material so well, I learned a lot. There is a huge paper for the course instead of a final exam - but you learn a lot. I am planning to take more courses with Dr. Junus.
