Does not care about whether you are in class or not. He just does example problem showing how to do certain types of problem and glances over the powerpoint like he didn't make it. Mentions the concepts for general understanding but won't really go further.

Not a helpful teacher at all, i went to his office during office hours to ask about homework and he told me that if you cant ask during an exam why are you asking me now. Take Wooddrum, but if you have Bramewell schedule your classes around Wooddrums. Makes you feel like you are the s****on his shoe becuase you are a student trying to learn chem

He tries to teach but he at times goes over your head. If you don't like to be called out in class I suggest not taking him or sitting in the front row. Does lots of demonstrations and asks for volunteers. Doesn't do many problems in class or show you different ways to do them. Office hours are always crowded. Doesn't alway explain concepts fully.

I like the guy, but seriously he is the worst person to learn from. I use to go to class and take heavy notes and i got a low test grade. I havent been to his class in almost 4 months now and I have an A. just study the book in and out and you will do fine on tests

Good teacher, does demonstrations with each lecture to hold attention, and is willing to help as much as he can before/after class. He's even helped me when it wasn't his office hours. It's a hard class, so you have to go out of your way and talk to him. But trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Likes to call people out in class, but if just tell him you don't know the answer, he respects that and moves on. This class is hard no matter who you have, but he'll often hold several review sessions before exams. Reading the chapters before exams and doing multiple example problems was the only way I passed this class (B).

You definitely need to read the textbook and do all of the questions assigned. The old exams help, but only slightly. Dr. Bramwell is very willing to help and often holds multiple review sessions before exams. This is a difficult class no matter which professor you take.

He is the stereotypical college professor that all of your teachers in high school warn you about. He isn't gonna be much help at all, and he WILL go out of his way to call you out and embarass you in class. If he does, just be honest with him and tell him you don't know. He respects that for some reason. You need to put in a lot of work for the A.

This is a very hard class no matter who you have it with. However, if you cannot get into Woodrum's class, take it with Bramwell. He really is not that bad. You just need to be on top of the material because he will call on people randomly.

He is very intelligent, and knows a lot about Chemistry. He is a decent teacher, but the class is VERY hard. He has trouble understanding why people struggle with the concepts, and that is annoying. He is also extremly arrogant. He calls on random people in the middle of lecture. He goes out of his way to make you feel stupid. I didn't like him.

Bramwell is amazingly intelligent, and yet, can't translate that into decent grades for his students. I constantly felt confused in the class, with no help from him. I studied more in that class than I ever have, but never felt prepared for the tests. If you are registered for his section, study A LOT, or try to get out at all costs!

This was the smartest professor I've had at UK, but he didn't know you to transfer that information to his students! We had the lowest class average by far. He'd work problems with us, but give us two minutes and he wouldn't work all the steps out. It was up to the students to figure them out on their own. He picks on students in the back, watchout

He knew chemistry but could not communicate with his students. He was much more concerned with where he had traveled the past week than what he was going to teach for the day. He never knew where we were in the powerpoint and would often ask a student. Many times we would recover material and class was pointless. Don't take him if you can avoid it!

This professor has no interest in helping his students. AT ALL! He is from New York and feels the need to state that almost every class. He is boring and enjoys embarrassing the students more than teaching them. The tests are incredibly hard, I would avoid this man at all costs!

Bramwell came in to substitute teach my CHE 104 class. It was by far the best lecture of the entire semester. Take that for what you will because I was not with him an entire semester. Oh yeah, he was subbing for Ades.
