I don't really know why I took this class eons ago (80's). Guess I had always wanted to learn French. I was dubious, but after I signed up, it was a lot of fun. Wish I had continued, but circumstances didn't allow for it.

Mr. Briot was a wonderful teacher. He helped me a lot and tried to help me as much as he could. I'll never forget how kind and helpful he was. Thank you Mr. Briot. I miss you!

Comment:

One of the best French teachers ever! Speaks (almost) nothing but French, but makes it comprehensible. Uses a variety of techniques, including exercises, readings, film, music, and of course, speaking. It is a shame he has retired-he was a beacon on that campus.
