By far the BEST Math Professor I have ever taken. You can tell he is passionate about Math and it shows in his teaching. Hes genuine, funny and makes it easy to comprehend. Its math so its not an easy class but Ive never had a professor make math so enjoyable to learn. He breaks it down step-by-step. Any questions? Ask! Hes happy to help.

Im really good at math but he just worked too fast. Even when Id ask questions hed move to the next thing. The homework was fine as long as you do it after class every session. If youre not that good at math I would highly recommend not taking this professor

Extremely hard class to pass. He flies by material way too quick. Ill be done writing my name and hes 12 chapters in to the lecture. Doesnt reply to emails. But he is funny. Ill give em that.

Took his class a while back and was a great professor. Made the math look easy for everyone and did very well to give good feedback on what he was doing instead of leaving everyone for dry. Homework wasn't killer and was also only a healthy amount of your grade but was also good practice for tests. Made lectures engaging and had a great personality

Comment:

Best math professor. He explains why math is math which made it so much easier. He answers every question, and is very funny, which is entertaining. The is also an S.I. leader in the class to help out, which is helpful since math is math. Definitely would take him again and totally recommended.

I took him but dropped out. I normally am good at math but felt like an idiot there. Too much homework. Too much mental math while teaching. NOTHING is on canvas and he is very unorganized. I liked the fact that he didn't care about attendance, gave us study guides, and we didn't have to buy the textbook since we downloaded the book on our phones.

Ever since I started Chaffey, I was scared of taking Math 25 (last math class for me). However, thanks to Mr. B's easy explanations, tips, and shortcuts this class wasn't that hard for me. Thank you Mr. B! Finally done with Math!!

Hands down best math professor ever. Step by step explanation. You really shouldn't struggle in this class at all. He does some mental math, so if you are confused how he got a number, just freaking ask. He's not a scary dude. And pay attention. It's math.

He goes too fast. He sometimes skips steps and that can make it hard to follow because you get lost. He let us use some online book that even HE didn't like. It was just OK homework was constantly hard. Made so many students frustrated this last semester (fall 2017). He curved the grade, final replaces lowest test score. Meh.

He's very upbeat and energetic with a great sense of humor and knows how to keep the class awake. He is a great teacher however, he taught a little too fast for me to comprehend the material. He is a great professor its just the subject that sucked.

Such a great class and professor. He really cares about his students and will answer any questions you have. I would recommend you brush up on your arithmetic because he does do mental math. Again this is intermediate math so you should be able to do the basics of algebra. He gives you a study guide for the exams if you study 100% you will pass

He is awful! If I did not need this class, I would drop it. He is that bad. He teaches too fast and gets way off topic. Super tough grader on tests. I have never had a math teacher that makes is so difficult to understand. He really thinks that everyone is a mathematician like him. Seriously AWFUL. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU ARE BAD AT MATH!

By far the best teacher I've ever had! I've always hated math, and was dreading taking this course. If I had math teachers like him in the past, I would've loved math. He doesn't over complicate things and makes it easy for you to understand. He's also very entertaining, kept me engaged in the topic instead of daydreaming or falling asleep.

By far my favorite professor for math! Professor Brouwer's lectures make the material so easy to understand. He does give out homework but it isn't hard to do once you grasp the concept of it. He'll also go over anything you might have a problem with at the beginning of class. If you find yourself struggling with math, I highly recommend him.

One of the BEST professors I have ever taken! Absolutely on point on every topic. He makes learning SO easy the way he lectures. Very structured and discipline very clear. Get ready to have your mind blown! Also very funny guy. Wish he would teach higher level courses. Must take!
