Great Guy. Attend the class, and its relatively easy. Walks through the problems which are the same style as the tests. Makes sure you understand the work if you attend office hours. 3 tests, last test counts as the final (simple if you do the work), 1 easy group project, and a few homeworks that you do in class, and he accepts them late.

Teaches information systems yet has an extremely limited knowledge about computers. Didn't know what my flash drive was when I wanted to load my presentation up with it! Slow teaching style which has no continuous direction. He's talking as I write this and I know I'm not missing anything. This whole semester could be condensed into 3 weeks.

Nice guy. We had 1 simple group presentation,everything he does in class is useful, but you can learn it on your own if you don't feel like showing up for class. Tests are simple,he gives a review before it and gives a lot of points here n there. one test we had to list something and i listed something totally different and still got half credit.

If u have him drop him-worse teacher ever! U hardly use the then u can't even sell the book because he uses a custom edition...so bad and really rude. Almost made a girl cry & his response are harsh and uncalled for! Also he's more of a history teacher then a comp 1. Cause u never use the comp for test u have 2 write what u should do on a comp.

Waage was a great professor until he screwed everyone over with the final EXAM!!!! I think everyone failed the final because he made is rediculously hard and did not go over most of what it covered. I liked him until he screwed everyone over with the last test. Had an A avergae til the end, and gave me a C! Definitely lazy and did not scale grades.

Professor Waage is awesome. Seems like all of the complaints stem from people not wanting to put ANY work into their classes. Yeah, there are a few presentations and 3 or 4 tests. But that's what college is, do the work if you want the A. He's a very helpful professor and always willing to meet with you if you need any extra help.

Waage is a good teacher and is very clear. He goes over exactly what the tests are going to be like. There are 2 midterms and a final and yes there are about 4 or 5 group presentations but as long as you do them he gives you an A. I really enjoyed the class thus far and he is an extremely easy grader. Would definitely recommend him for 301 stats.

This teacher is horrible and I found his class a complete waste of time. Just study the text book when it comes time for exams. You don't really even need to go to his class and listen to him ramble on. Also, beware of presentations. My group had three presentations. The first one of which he criticizes you to death in front of the whole class.

The book sucks; doesnt explain material well enough to comprehend. Waage is a bit unorganized and couldn't find the best approach in teaching his students. He seems eager for them to learn tho. Very 'easy' grader on tests/final. Go to tutoring, they are very helpful.

This prfsr was a little unorganized, but after reading the other reviews, I felt I HAD to post one in his defense. He grades extremely leniently, I just rec'd a 100% on 1 test where I got part of the problem wrong. I feel that he really wants his stds to understand the material. He doesn't answer emails though and made us do presentations, YUK!

Nice guy. Very knowledgeable. But does not teach. The lectures are very relaxed compared to the exam. The lectures DO NOT prepare you for the exams. I would not take him again.
