I had Gabby as a teacher for two semesters in a row (MATH 254 & 154) and she was amazing. She gives the best notes in the world. Her instructions are easy to follow and she gives tons of examples in class for you to work on so you feel real confident in the material.

Comment:

Took math 154 with her and as a person who deeply despises math i can honestly say this class, and her teaching style made it enjoyable. She has pre-made note hand outs made to which we could print if wanted(fill in the blank notes with examples)I printed them and it made it so much easier to learn and understand. shes a great teacher, very helpful

Took the summer session, which was very intense. If I had to do it over, I probably would not take a 5 credit online course in a six week time period on a subject that does not come easy to me. Thankfully I did pass . Gabby was very available to help, and even encouraging. She responded timely, patiently, and thoroughly.

Took her Math 154 online class. It was fine. She replies to emails within a few hours. Clearly explained anything I had problems with. 3x5 with notes are ok to use for exams. I dislike math and I got a B.

I took gabby by first semester of college. I did not know what to expect, but with her it was like high school all over again. Then I took her the next semester for math 142, She knows what she is talking about, super down to earth, funny, caring, will answer your questions, will take the time to help you individually,tests easy,hw easy, just doit

Gabby is SUPER helpful, if you have a question she will not hesitate to assist you. Study guides are very similar to what is on the Exams. I really recommended her, and wish she was teaching Math 152 this semester.

Gabby is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. The subject is challenging for me but I found her extremely helpful and considerate. Do the homework and the study guides and the exams will never be a surprise. TAKE HER CLASS.

First of all, I would recommend not taking an online math class. You really need to teach yourself most of the stuff. I don't think I would have passed if I didn't get tutored. Take it in class! As for Gabby, she is really nice and emailed me back with answers to my questions. She really wants you to succeed and will help you the most she can.

Best Math Inst. at Cabrillo! & i'm not exaggerating. very helpful, caring, funny and keeps ends class with a + vibe. book isn't required, except for hwk. really strict about talking during class and phone usage but i understand. who likes people that talk while your learning, right? really recommended, especially for those who struggle at Math!

She is not helpful or understanding. She goes over packets every class of each chapter which is kind of nice but when you have a question she tells you to wait until the ten minute break during the 3 hour class. She is rude. Homework is important and she only grades a couple of problems so if you miss anything on that you fail the homework.

Gabby is very nice, but her lectures and homework are SO easy and don't really prepare you for the material on the exams and quizzes. She is repetitive and spends way too much time answering random questions from students and not focusing on the material she needs to be teaching.

Gabby is hands-down the best math teacher at Cabrillo. She goes out of her way to help students understand the material. She is always available to answer your questions and help you through the work. As with any class, you should always attend and stay for every minute if you expect to do well.

Gabby was a good teacher, but she will NOT cut you any breaks. You'll need to show up to class, do your homework (which is online AND book hw), and make an effort to understand the curriculum. I mistakenly went into the class thinking I wouldn't need to put any work in, but I ended up not passing by less than 5%. She's not going to pity you.

Very good teacher! Super helpful. Take it if you are a serious student and want to learn the subject and not just skate by. Don't talk in her class. She likes a quiet work environment...but this is helpful if your not very good at math. I loved her class, she was super helpful! Always willing to help!

If you are not serious about learning, don't take her class. She let's you use an Index card & gives you a study guide for exam. What more could you ask for?
