She was an amazing help! She would answered any questions I had and always kept us interested in the class. She might have not have always been clear on assignments but if you ask her to explain she is more than happy to.

Her "environmental" classes are so sickeningly easy. In class you will share personal stories and opinions. The material is somewhat interesting and you don't have to do much work. Unfortunately, her instructions for assignments can be confusing. Follow the instructions she puts online to do well. Also, she assigns all day Saturday field trips.

wow im reading over some of these comments and wonder who are they talking about...i am not doing good in the class but its not the professor, she is helpful, encouraging, and patience, gives extensions if needed and all..i have learned more in her class since highschool!! if she taught other courses that i need i would SURELY take her!

Dr. Luera is by far one of the best professors I have had. This course was online, but all of her assignments were clear and I learned a lot. I would definitely recommend her!!!

Does not know how to teach. favors student CLEARLY..picky (VERY PICKY) GRADER.. not very respectful. am in her class now and me and 7 other students are struggling big time. we are toward the end of the semester and some students are going to drop her. avoid as much as possible. i regret every minute in her class.

This woman wants you to be so specific on everything and if its not done her way she marks you down on everything. Yet during lecture she can't even clarify your misunderstanding. I wouldn't recommend taking her. The content is easy, yet she nit picks on everything you do. So you grade goes down.

This class had potential, but I feel the style of teaching led to more frustration than learning. It was impossible at times to get a straight, clear answer and expectations/information was presented in a crazily unorganized manner. We spent all semester on the Action Research...it just seemed like a horrible waste.

This is not what I'm paying for, she's so unorganized, can't answer a questiion without asking her own 20 questions. We are paying to learn, not to hear her riducule students by asking wordy questions and confusing the student even more. She tends to be unfair to some students. Didn't learn anything new, only confused me on what I already knew.

2 pg. weekly reflections, 6-7 pg. paper, & an experiment + 1 mid-term exam. Class was more of "what do you think" vs. "this is how it is" which makes for an ambiguous exam, so a study guide with exacts (ie definitions) from her are recommended. All-in-all, I liked her & the class. TAKE NOTES ON EVERYTHING, THEY HELP WITH THE REFLECTIONS!!!
