I honestly don't know if she had much of a plan when coming to class because every class turned into open discussions. If you want to actually learn the material, don't take this class. Gets off topic so fast and that was very frustrating. On the plus side she is very intelligent and caring.

Her classes are a great introduction to social work. She has her opinions, but is willing to hear out anyone else. If you have something to say make sure you have reasoning. That is how college discussions should be though. She is very nice and willing to work with students who are struggling because she wants them to succeed.

I did very good in her class but I am also a woman. She defiently seems to hate men. She also seems to be very close minded and does not want to hear anyone else's ideas or beliefes on a subject.

she is a great teacher, but a bit scatter-brained at times. she doesn't really have a clear lesson plan, probably because she lets everyone slack off. very insightful professor though, she really cares....i hate that stupid course packet ($115) that she uses the first half of the semester- waste of money.

I liked her as a person quite a bit but I did not like the tests. She teaches the class like a sociology class, in that, we just make observations about society. However, on tests we are asked to come up with solutions which is something we rarely did in class.

Loved the class. She's very helpful, in her office a lot and always willing to help. Great for discussions and debates. Will respect all opinions as long as you can defend them. She's a lot of fun, and you learn a lot. A great combination.

Man oh man she is crazy. Loved her as a prof. but she was slow on returning papers. Very helpful if you ask for help. She is a very informed social worker and greatly enjoys her job.

Gail is a great professor and the students that do not like her or her teaching style are immature and need to grow up. She is very passionate about her field and it shows. Gail also grades easily-which is great. Take her class and you will learn alot.
